This is another one that's way too long for WB. More like a mini-hypnotic techno set than a single track. I had to really reduce the bitrate so it'd fit size wise, but it still sounds surprisingly decent to me. Anyway, short version, I was digging through another source of CC0/public samples of weird old recordings, and I came across this hypnosis instruction from the 60s. Instead of doi...

› Lyrics‹ Lyrics What a trip Now we're done with it No actually it's only beginning This whole life is a trip We're not done with it What a rip Apart I've come so far and then I lock myself in the bathroom again from the overwhelm I don't wanna start a fight So instead I take flight With all your might you might try to tell me how to lead with authority No Have...

heading to the PRF Campout this weekend so had to get something done early. decided to do an instrumental mix of the new forestlike single, 'summer blanket.' forestlike is me & my life-buddy, Jared Myers. we're joined here by Billie Howard (violin) & Kaitlin Grady (cello). they are both incredible! *i would be thrilled if you check out the video for the single: one of these...

This week's jam was really hard to start, but then it only took me an hour and a half. I am still sick and this annoys me big time! trying to save my voice and let my throat heal. trying to remain calm and assure that I will get better soon. so this week I shake everything away that annoys me - Schüttel' dich! :P Lyrics Keine Angst vor dem, was bleibt Keine Angst vor dem, was kommt Keine...

I've had enough dealing with reality for a bit.  Time to jump headfirst into fantasy land.  Wyverns are the under-appreciated cousins of dragons.  The main difference between them from what I can tell is that wyverns generally have two legs and dragons have four. I also threw in some mermaids, unicorns, and winged lions.  I like the word "wyvern" so it got the so...

Hi everyone :) Time and creative energy have been in short supply lately, so I'm just happy I managed to finish a track for this week at all. Here's my entry for this week. Hope you still find some nice bits and pieces you like. Cheers KaZu 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike (BY-NC-SA)

been a minute, i thought i would try and do the last few weeks of the year. unlikely i'll make them all, but just wanted to see if i could get some of the motivation back. hope you are all doing great too <3 wrote this on the bed in 2 evenings while i was staying at my parents house. could of done with some more time invested, but i think i got it to the point of diminishing returns at lea...

This was another speedrun using only flstudio stock plugins like sytrus, sawer, and gms. Though the transitions are abrupt I still managed to put more time on this project than I have the previous two weeks so that was a small improvement. I got this to a salvageable state by zeroing in on 4 and 2 bar segments to iron out little quirks. The end result is still rough but it was worse before. 2026 C...

Cut some promotional material for upcoming show. Updated instagram account to have a more unified set of handles across the internet. Thinking about doing the same for YT but, there are technical hurdles. Went to see Boy Harsher w/ AL. Reached out to old co-worker about after party but, was not able to attended. Interesting set experience. Thinking of stage layouts and potential side project. Like...

This week my aims for doing things differently to usual were: A faster tempo, but no drumsStart straight in, no intro or build up Guess when and where I made the field recording and took the photo? 🤭 Process notes on my blog, as usual. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

It's starting to feel very much like fall and I'm here for it. I recorded some Perkons drum performance being fed into an EHX Bass Big Muff Pi, edited that in Bitwig to make the fuzz wide, and then layered some Arturia Acid V on it for a psy trance kind of vibe. It has a much darker, fuzzier attitude than the gritty ODB-3 jam I did a couple of weeks back. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercia...

POLYNETIX is my next submission for weeklybeats, and this time around, I plan on touching down on common rhythm game arcade genres such as Artcore/Schranz/EDM, aiming for a piece which combines both a fast paced tempo and highly intricate mixing to produce a strong energy, electronic piece. Now usually, I'm the type of person to rely very heavily on reverb and delay effects when synthesizing...

I finally got around to using Scaper for something! Hat tip to Neon Liminal for referencing that tool in one of his tracks earlier this year. There isn't much to this ambient thing, but I was finally able to do something desolate and eerie. The glassy percussion hits are out of the DMX plug in. I put some delays on those. The dark ambience is from Scaper. The vocal is a super pitched down lin...

Tried something new this week, using mostly Ableton together with external effects and synths. I made a sparse rhythmic loop and extended it to around 6 minutes and then recorded everything else as long takes on top of that, to see if things would feel less loopy. It definitely made the arrangement easier instead of trying to stretch a loop. Only subtle changes to the sounds while they got recorde...

A partially-unwitting retread of my Week 2 beat. Sorry it's probably many bass frequencies that aren't EQ'd around each other. Anyway, I've been attending weekly drum circles and this is the stored-up music I guess I have in me. Yes it sounds like the type of thing i would typically make but some spiritual things are straightforward and not really deep (or the corollary that so...
