cyberpunk acid jam. this one is a mess. down to the wire. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)

I'm moving from bass to guitar (my first instrument) for my band Atomic Pines. I used this as an excuse to tinker with creating a guitar FX chain on the HX Stomp and playing some of my old guitar loop ideas I've been sitting on, the 'Design Patterns' project. This is an ambitious one with a guitar loop that is in 25,  I think. Essentially, a compound meter of 6+6+6+7. I to...

Been sleeping with a CPAP for the last 10 days or so, after my recent sleep apnea diagnosis (medium to severe case). I slightly look like Bane in  The dark knight rises but man... what a change. I slept well before but snore like a train, and was pretty much always tired unless I could get 9 hours of sleep. I need 7 now to feel great, and don't wake up super congested and groggy anymore....

Built in a hurry from an unfinished Koala sampler project with endless resampling cycles. I just remembered in the last minute that the deadline changed and a lot of ideas will remain unfinished. I tried to make it funky... though this came out of the speakers. More Ableton resonator than you can eat. The mix is messy as hell... I fell sleep in front of my computer at least a couple of times while...

Got the new firmware update for my Perkons and had a fun time fooling around with it. The new chord instrument is fun! And note quantization is very welcome. Quick little ditty with it. As usual, not as long as I'd like to dedicated to polishing things :) 2026 Copyright All rights reserved

That was a fun one Jammed with @dreat and @lecroquemonsieur today :3 I was torn between what to upload, there was one where we played around the riff I came up with a long time ago and it did turn out very well and quite clean. And then there was this one which I just noodled on a spot and it turned out to be an odd time signature and you can clearly hear me having trouble with playing in time. As...

Hello friends! › Production notes‹ Production notes Speedtrash this week due to a lack of time :). I tried to listen closely to Baauer's GoGo! and recreate some of the patterns in it on the m8 as an exercise. The A section feels pretty close sans vocal samples. The B section could use some love. I also probably should have set tempo to 150 instead of 75 so I could have had more fl...

Worked on this a bunch this week... kinda a weird track! Last minute render, hopefully the hihats aren't too loud. Enjoy! 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (BY-SA)

Not really in the mood this week, like so often. And to be honest, I have more urgent things to do. But that's the beauty of WeeklyBeats: It forces me to sit down and produce something nevertheless. And I'm really happy with how this one turned out! Especially the main melody. I'd love to revisit it and some point and have someone sing lyrics to it. 2026 CC Attribution Share Alike (...

The Santa Ana winds were blowing in so I felt inspired! I wanted to do a wind quintet backed by harp and to get the "devil" in there I wrote it in Locrian, the darkest and most unstable mode. I chose the SNES because I knew it would make this sound pretty, and at the end of the day I still wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike (BY-NC-SA)

Greetings from Robert Miles! :D Somehow this happened. What romantic lyrics today! 123bpm, F minor (with some deviations, I guess…) › Lyrics‹ Lyrics I walk the face of the earth In tune, in time and in the heart With you still by my side Roaming, far deep and wide You glide on the surface of the earth Keeping the fire of the hearth Wherever you go I go too Golden hearts, always true We...

Hmm, here we go, another one down. This one's a little weird. I did a jam on some hardware: novatio nciruits, mininova into looper. Ran out of energy to edit and arrange much, so I just cut the jam down, picked some chunks. Realized it was weird, but kinda trippy and there's some sounds I like. I think if I used the stems and properly edited and arranged I could get something I'm ha...

Constructive Criticism ALWAYS accepted and encouraged! I went outside for this one which was a little scary! › LYRICS‹ LYRICS Glaciers long ago Left it there Those kids will never know What would come to bear Looking deep into the past From mountains gone, Mother earth freely moves us as her pawns Those old days Where we would play Our jungle gym Mother nature gave Make believe and scr...

I worked on my Javascript tool some more to add a variety of bassline styles (drone, move up X times in scale or chord, move down X times in scale or chord, alberti, second melody) that match the scale and key. Added optional harmony that places below the melody. Added subdivisions in the cell for 8th and 16th notes and triplets, but they currently sound unnatural following the same rules that lon...

Another week, yet another track started <2 hours before the deadline lol... I continue to feel like this isn't my best work, but at the same time, I'm feeling pretty unmotivated, so I'm glad I'm keeping up with it at all. Maybe I'll catch a second wind before the end of the year, but if not, more speedXXXXXXXXX. Have a great week! 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No De...
