We find division in most places these days — in the workplace, at school and at home, with friends — and even at church. But we know it shouldn’t be that way. After all, we long to be in community, and we need each other’s support and encouragement. Unfortunately, finding the pathway forward feels elusive to most people. Perhaps for some it’s no longer even a priority. But Jesus preached a better...

This Sunday, guest preacher Dominic Chasse will discuss the remarkable story in John’s gospel (John 4:1-29) about Jesus’ encounter with The Woman at the Well. We hope you’ll join us for his sermon called A Well-Told Story, which covers the life-changing power and implications of our testimony as Christ-followers. That's what's happening in person at Velocity and online at VelocityChurch.info. Eith...

Throughout the Old Testament there are sacred moments and places God sets apart for His people to experience His purpose. And while Jesus changes the form of those moments to invite everyone, He also reinforces their function in God’s holiness in our lives. We'll see in our sermon series Sacred that it’s by understanding 5 ancient consecrations — Relationship, Name, Place, Sacrifice and Calling —...

And if the theme music is catchy enough, you'll be humming the tune for days. It's no coincidence that Velocity's August sermon series is called At the Movies: 90's Edition. Throughout the month, we'll take a look at some of the best film...
