Use Your Words
Here at Use Your Words - we are two friends that decided to create a podcast for Bible believing Christians that care about news and culture. While not every week will focus on current news and/or culture - we will continually focus on the single thread through everything - our faith in Christ. We each have different passions and bring those passions to the forefront - music, faith, mental health, politics, news, worldview, and how all these things tie together. Join us as we learn, grow, and continue to become better each week. Interact with us on our social media accounts or email (uywords@g...

Lies That Christians Believe: Pt 2 23.02.2022 34:19
This week we continue to look at the lies that Christians believe. Some of these lies include the thought that once you become a Christian, life has become perfect and also that God never gives you more than you can handle (while this may be true in spiritual truths - not necessarily in things happening physically to a person). What else do we as Christians believe that may not be true? Use Your W...

Thanksgiving 2021 23.11.2021 1:19:47
The past two years have been - to put it mildly - a little bit on the crazy side. And during all of this craziness we all of a sudden have Thanksgiving coming up on us. So with Thanksgiving coming up - we decided to relax a little and talk about some of our Thanksgiving traditions, some weird facts about Thanksgiving, and of course (being traditional like everyone else) we talk about we are gratef...
Resisting Temptation in 2021 - It ain't easy folks 16.11.2021 1:06:47
When it comes to what is available on the internet - it seems to be getting more and more crude by the minute at times. With all the things vying for our attention and seemingly coming at us from all angles trying to sell things - it is more important then ever to find a way to avoid temptation. Being a single guy, this is sometimes a huge undertaking. So what can we do to resist all the sexual it...

These are three very important items to be aware of for men - as these are item...
Wasting Time When We Can Be Doing Other Things 26.10.2021 58:19
We often hear people complain that they don't have enough free time in their lives, and for the most part (if the Department of Labor Statistics is to believed) that is true. Out of the 8760 hours per year, we only have 1401 hours to ourselves (that translates to ~59 days) once all our commitments (sleep, work, commuting, chores, taking care of family, working out) are met for the year. Thats two...

Global supply chain shortages, a sand shortage, Venezuela, and patience 28.09.2021 1:02:42
The Covid virus has shown how fragile the entire supply chain system is. We have seen a rise in times to get everything from basic supplies to furniture. We have shortages in multiple resources - sand, petroleum, truckers, chicken and more - which is causing issues around the globe. Yet in the United States we still have it better then most of the world. Even though inflation is causing issues, we...
Are we headed for a Wall-e type future? 21.09.2021 1:00:33

This week Paul and Aaron talks about the issues with being in a stagnant culture and what does and doesn't count toward a stagnant culture. Use Your Words p...
