The Roads Church Podcast

Do we become what we behold? Does it matter what we behold? The biblical principle is that we can either be full of light or full of darkness, and in some way it correlates with our eyes. Our eyes are a gate to the garden soil of our heart. What we let in can take root and produce a harvest. Whatever is put into our heart is magnified. If you want to behold and magnify Jesus, He's found in the Wor...

How desperate are you? Are you willing to get rid of all that is hindering you, and run to JESUS? Bartimaeus' story tells how he Heard, Responded, Resisted, Persisted, Received and he Followed. He took action and didn't just sit on the side of the road expecting something would change for him. When Jesus asked Him what he wanted Him to do for him, at great cost and challenging religion, Bartemaeus...

What does it mean to have MORE of God? What does MORE look like? Getting more of God in your life will require greater pursuit after the nature, character and quality of the person of Jesus. You must be willing to pay the cost of becoming less so that God can become more in your life. Sometimes you have to think differently than your current surroundings, even if it looks foolish and if there is o...

What does it mean to be a person after God's own heart? And am I one? Can I be one? God's eyes are going to-and-fro looking for someone whose heart is after His, and He's going to show Himself strong on their behalf. Saul didn't make the cut, only because his heart wasn't after and pursuing God's heart. God FOUND David with a heart after Him amongst the sheep, playing the harp and worshiping God....

The darkness in the world is the responsibility of the church to do something about it. The mission of your spirit-filled life isn't to be pointing out the sins of others, but rather it's that your life is to bring conviction to the world, bringing to it an understanding of its created purpose. A Global Awakening Associate Evangelist, William Wood is also a graduate of the Global School of Superna...

Cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches and desires for other things will choke the Word of God out of our lives. We can't get rid of the cares of this world, we all operate with money in our lives, and have desires for other things, but the problem is when these things "enter in." It's when the cares of the world stop being AROUND you, and they get IN you. The only thing that's supposed to b...

When Elijah was taken up to heaven to be with the Lord he asked Elisha what he wanted from him, Elisha asked for a double portion of the spirit that was upon Elijah. Elisha went on to perform double the miracles that Elijah did. In the New Testament Jesus told His disciples not to go out until they were indued with power. When we are clothed with the power of the Holy Spirit miracles happen! The H...

Sometimes we can hoard things in our hearts, things like offense, unforgiveness, preferences, and many more, and we try to fit God in between all of the stuff that we are carrying around in our hearts. We have to learn how to get rid of all the bad things to make room for Jesus. He doesn't want to be fit in among everything else, He wants to be the one thing that takes up the most space in our liv...

There are a set of attitudes, values and goals that match the Kingdom Culture - Heaven, and the same is true that there are attitudes, values and goals that match the culture of the kingdoms of the world. Satan has a counter culture to the kingdom of heaven's culture, and his goal is to get us to believe that we can live without God, and once we believe we can live without God, we worship ourselve...

We invite you into a journey to learn what it means to walk in the kingdom and not just church and religion. The church is forgetting that we've been given the culture and kingdom of God. Jesus spoke to his disciples about the importance of children. They are not separate from the rest of the church but are an important part of it. When we forget to remember their importance in the body of Christ we are neglecting their spiritual growth. The Father has a heart for all children and the role that they play in shaping the church. Children are the church! We invite you to explore our p...

God’s original intent was to meet with us. When He came to meet with the Israelites in Exodus they were afraid of the presence of God and asked Moses to speak to God for them. They liked the idea of doing things for God but not the idea of meeting with Him. The Bible says we should serve the Lord with fear. We need to have the right kind of fear. Our fear causes us to pull away from God but God’s...

When Jesus was crucified darkness settle on the Earth in the middle of the day and the veil that separated us from the presence of God was torn from top to bottom. Jesus was sealed in a tomb by a stone, He was in complete darkness just like the Earth. On the third day, He rose and the stone was rolled away and His light was shining in the Earth again. The light overcame the darkness! Darkness will...

One year ago, God spoke a warning about being lethargic and the darkness that we face in our lives, today He spoke an encouragement about the light we have within because of Jesus! The past year has been a tough one for many but God wants to extend our arms back to Him with the purpose of returning the dislocations and fractures in our lives to their original state. We will still face hardships bu...

The Bible uses a lot of symbolism, it will then be explained in straightforward literal terms. Daniel and Revelation are good examples of this when they refer to the harlot riding the beast. The beast is coalition under the leadership of the Antichrist and the harlot represents the city that will hold an influence over the Antichrist kingdom. What the city, harlot, used to control will eventually...

God is the one who brought us out of who we used to be, you didn’t do it on your own. In Psalm 81 He asks us to open our mouth, life, wide and He will fill it. When we open our life wide we should be making room for Him in our hearts and the possibility that comes with Him. The space you do not make available God will not fill until you begin to choose to push the away the junk that fills those sp...

How should we communicate in our relationships? Having a transparent, open approach to the way we communicate with a spouse, children, and even in our friendships creates a safe place for us to share what’s in our hearts. When God created Adam and Eve the Bible says, they were naked and unashamed. It was not just referring to physical nakedness but emotional and spiritual nakedness as well. We can...

We have to leave our political alliances behind, regardless of which party, when they do not fall in line with what the word of God says. God made it very clear that His support is always with the nation of Israel and ours should be as well. The antichrist is going to raise up an army out of the middle east and wage a war against Israel. The seven Empires mentioned in Ezekiel 38 will be part of th...

The Bible gives us a lot of specifics about the end times. God spoke to Daniel in dreams and visions of what the end times would bring. He gave great details about where the antichrist would come from and when he will appear. Why did God give us all of these details? He gave them so that we would be encouraged about His return and not deceived by the antichrist. We invite you to explore our podcas...

Is the Bible accurate? God knows the truth about what is coming ahead in our futures. We are born for this time in history! In the Bible, God sends the angel Gabriel to speak to Daniel. He spoke of nations and kingdoms that would rise and fall in the years ahead. Everything that God spoke through Gabriel came to pass at the exact time that God said it would. God’s word is the truth and is accurate...

Where is your source of truth? God is spirit, He breathed His spirit into humanity when He created us. Our spiritual being directly affects our natural lives. We have to work on our spirit and fill it with truth from the correct source, God, in order to change our outward lives. There are other spirits that exist that are not of God. Do not believe every spirit or person that claims to be of God i...
