The Quantum Mechanics - Paranormal Podcast

Imagine struggling with lifelong exhaustion, sudden bursts of rage, or a stubborn addiction. Now imagine discovering that those feelings don’t belong to you at all—they belong to a parasite feeding on your energy. Welcome to the weird, incredibly detailed, and methodically clinical world of entity possession. This week,  The Quantum Mechanics  dives deep into the work of Dr. Samuel Sagan, a creden...

Once upon a time, people believed their homes were being quietly cared for by unseen helpers. Brownies—tiny, mysterious creatures from Scottish folklore—were said to clean, fix, and tidy everything while you slept. But over time, the stories faded… and so did the Brownie. What happened to them? We trace the folklore, tell some incredible tales, explore their links with the Harry Potter universe, a...

🚨 CONTENT WARNING 🚨 This episode contains graphic descriptions of human and animal mutilation drawn from documented police, military, and forensic reports. Listener discretion is strongly advised. We all know the standard UFO story: lights in the sky, little grey men, missing time. Over the years, we’ve domesticated the alien phenomenon to make it feel safe. But there is a dark, terrifying threa...

Ted Owens, AKA the PK Man, is one of the most controversial figures in psi research. In this episode we dive into his claim‑driven career of precognition and psychokinesis, exploring how he said he could foretell and even trigger natural disasters, weather events, and UFO sightings—all under the guidance of extraterrestrial intelligences. To help support the podcast and get exclusive content follo...

This week, we’re unpacking a case that firmly refuses to sit in any of the usual paranormal boxes. It’s not a standard haunting, it doesn't quite fit the extraterrestrial abduction mould, and it's certainly not your garden-variety cryptid. We are looking at the deeply unsettling testimony of Dan Mitchell, a man who has spent the last forty years being quietly pursued by an impossible entit...

In this episode, we dive into Dean Radin’s book on Real Magic and a bold claim — that some magic isn’t fantasy, it’s a testable piece of reality. We break down Radin’s threefold view of real magic (force of will, divination, theurgy), explore why scientists shy away from psi, and tease the social and historical forces that suppressed these ideas. If we cast enough of a spell on you, come and suppo...

Move over, little green men and sleek grey aliens. What if the strangest visitors to our planet looked much more...like a tyre mascot? In this episode, we dive deep into one of the most bizarre and overlooked sub-genres of UFO history: the "Bibendum" encounters. Spanning from the early 1950s to the late 1970s, across four continents, dozens of unconnected witnesses reported encounters wi...

Sudden temperature drops known as 'cold spots' have been reported at many haunted locations, including Borley Rectory and The Stanley Hotel (aka The Shining hotel). In this episode the Ark of the Covenant is revisited through a science-and-speculation lens. Drawing on the work of David Medina and other alternative researchers, the show explores the idea that the Ark’s famously detailed construction notes may describe more than a ceremonial chest—raising questions about electricity, radiation, and why ancient rituals often resemble modern safety procedures. Th...

We dive into one of the earliest Society for Psychical Research investigations—the Morton Ghost (aka The Cheltenham Ghost). Based on Miss R. C. Morton’s firsthand accounts, this episode traces a haunting that unfolds through a web of deaths, jealousies, and hidden jewellery. We unpack what the witnesses saw, how Frederic Myers and the SPR evaluated the evidence, and what this case reveals about ea...

In this episode, we peel back the ivy on one of the most persistent mysteries in folklore: The Green Man. He stares down from the rafters of our greatest cathedrals and hides in the scrap-land behind railway stations, but who—or what—is he? Is he a benign symbol of rebirth, or the "Woodwose"—a ferocious, rock-throwing savage that has haunted the Midlands since the 13th century? We trace...

We delve into the high strangest around the creation of The Weeping Angels on Doctor Who. Explore recent revelations that cast mystery about the oldest statue ever discovered (The Shigir Idol), and an ancient iron Indian monument that never rusts. You might want to mix a drink for this one.... For decades,  Bradshaw Ranch  was the backdrop for John Wayne westerns and Marlboro commercials, but in 1992 the "movie magic" broke, and the actors were replaced by biological impossibilities, time anomalies, and then a government shutdown. Using  Sir Roger Penrose’s Orch-OR (Orchestrated Objective Reduction) theory , we ask the question: I...

In the quiet heart of West Sussex lies Clapham Wood—a picturesque patch of ancient beech and oak. In 1975, this seemingly innocent countryside became the epicentre of one of Britain’s most disturbing unexplainable mysteries. It started with the dogs. From sturdy Chow Chows to obedient Collies, family pets ran into the shadows of "The Chestnuts" clearing and simply ceased to exist—leaving...

Hold on to your tin hats as we find out how Mars is involved, and why 1000-tonne foundations are exactly 15.5 degrees off true north. Keep our crust from shiftin...

Did the U.S. government reverse-engineer the 21st century from recovered non-human craft? And more importantly—did the intelligence behind those craft  want  us to find them? This week, we dive into the startling correlations between the "Cassiopaean Experiment" Substack project and the latest revelations from the 2025 disclosure movement. We examine the timeline anomalies surrounding th...

In many ways artificial intelligence is having a positive impact on our world, but sometimes it can feel more like something from a scary sci-fi movie. We have stories of a smart speaker that thinks it's god, seemingly possessed devices, robots attacking their creators, and supercomputers trying to start nuclear war. To help us preserve the human race of podcasters, consider supporting us at h...

We look into some murder cold cases, which were linked to black magic.

Some of the most credible UFO sightings in history have taken place in or around schools.
