June 9 2020: What Even is 2020? 09.06.2020

120K people watched a guy play NCAA Football 14. Is this the end of Coach Duggs' time on Rocky Top? Valorant's Twitch Rivals launch tournament was really good and T1 asserted their dominance over the rest of NA. Baseball is in big trouble and it's 100% their own fault. Overwatch League may just saved their season and the league as a whole.

June 5 2020: State of the Scene 05.06.2020

T1 and 100 Thieves both make BIG Valorant signings right before the launch weekend Twitch Rivals. That Twitch Rivals should be absolutely insane too, even though it's more a Pro-Am than a major tournament. A "State of the Scene" for Overwatch, Call of Duty and League of Legends. The NBA and NHL truly have plans to come back, why doesn't baseball?

May 29 2020: It May Be Short, But it's SPICY 29.05.2020

Valorant's beta is over but it did more than enough to prove the hype is deserved. LCS teams are making moves for the Summer Split but I don't think it will be enough to challenge C9. The NFL simultaneously does something amazing and something else incredibly stupid like only they can.  MLB looks at the NFL doing something stupid and says hold my 24 pack.

May 27 2020: Well I Got One Prediction Right 27.05.2020

Chicago Huntsmen look like title contenders again. The Aquilini Group ruined the Vancouver Titans and now they're working on the Surge. Why does OGLA still have crazy ping issues? The weekend of Overwatch League, possibly ever comes to an end. Keep doing this, it works so much better. Summit1G signs an exclusive deal with Twitch so Mixer is probably screwed. Call of Duty 2020 trailer should come o...

May 22 2020: Esports are Weird and I Love It. 22.05.2020

Faze and NRG may be going after franchise spots in the LCK and the LCS is changing up their broadcast format, in my opinion, for the better. Drama continues in the Overwatch League right before one of their better ideas is about kick off. Another CDL event with more insane storylines this weekend. A whole lot of Valorant news, both the game itself and on the player signings front. Evil Genius' reb...

May 19 2020: Reunions, Underdogs and Finally Some Higher Stakes 19.05.2020

Prestinni is finally reuniting with Arcitys and Chicago is right back on track because of the move. May Melee seeding is set in Asia and North America after a mostly good weekend of Overwatch that was loaded with Echo shenanigans. Europe is starting to step up in Valorant and the UK might actually be okay in this game (unlike CS). More states are about to let sports come back, this crap is finally...

May 15 2020: Controversies, Rumors and Plans 15.05.2020

Leena and Doublelift dating is already causing problems for TSM a full month before the Summer Split starts. Faze Banks admits to running an illegal CS:GO skin gambling four years after the fact and shows zero remorse over scamming children. CoD League discusses removing Domination from matches and Prestinni possibly going to the Huntsmen to join his brother. Overwatch League prepares for the May...

May 12 2020: Well Things Have Certainly Gotten Interesting Again 12.05.2020

An insane weekend of controversy, upsets and really poor performances from teams I called title contenders in CoD League. Overwatch teams who lost players and aren't San Francisco are struggling but this tournament format has at least made the games somewhat interesting. Some LCS changes and what it could mean when the Summer Split starts next month. Baseball has a plan(the players won't agree to...

May 8 2020: So Much Drama, Everywhere. We Need Sports Back and Soon 08.05.2020

In the aftermath of the implosion of the team, the Titans signed five guys from Contenders. At least they have easy games this weekend. The Chicago Huntsmen produced their own drama in CoD League with Gunless. CoD League has five legit title contenders and that's more than most other esports, especially in North America can say.  Brendan Leipsic and his brother both in hot water after some no...

May 6 2020: A Few Pleasant Surprises 06.05.2020

The NFL stops for absolutely nothing and I LIKE IT! Roger Goodell is likable now and I'm kinda confused. Louisville screwed up again,  ESPN is showing Korean baseball now and the NHL Draft might happen at its normal time, before the season finishes. T1 and NSG put on one heck of a Valorant tournament. GenG signed an entitre CS roster as their Valorant team and they beat a whole lot of good te...

May 1 2020: Massive Contracts, Team Implosion and Tampering (Toss a Coin to Your Fragger) 01.05.2020

Overwatch League is in trouble for a whole lot of reasons. Dallas Empire improve while Chicago Hunstmen slide at the Chicago "Home" Series. Tampering accusations are running wild in LCS, they're really close to going full NBA even after Rick Fox left. Everyone is jumping on board with Valorant but it might be a little too early to be spending this kind of money.  Intro Song: Falls Apart by Th...

April 28: NFL Draft Recap w/ Matt Fortunato and Jonathan Holloway 28.04.2020

Semi-regular contributor Jonathan Holloway and friend of the show Matt Fortunato join to recap the NFL Draft, what was good, what was bad and previous Draft screw ups that are hilarious with hindsight.

April 24 2020: Well I Have Good News and Bad News 24.04.2020

MSI is cancelled and Worlds seeds are getting moved around, there's still 24 teams just certain regions are sending different numbers of teams. Overwatch League learned from their mistake last week but they need to find a way for the Fusion to play the Dynasty and Dragons, find out who really is the best team. The Chicago "Home Series" has some serious potential to be really good, especially if th...

April 22 2020: Draft Week Getting Spicy in Sports and Esports 22.04.2020

DoubleLift reuniting with TSM. Will the League get their own Summer of Cloud9?  What does being the best OWL team in any region actually mean? Overwatch League should never do that Thursday/Friday schedule again. ESPN's Valorant invitational has been really good so far, there will be a legit esports scene for this game by early next year.  Gronk is coming back to the NFL and headed to th...

April 17 2020: Big Trade News and the Light at the end of this Tunnel 17.04.2020

Team Liquid is probably going to trade Doublelift. What will the pushed back MSI do the tournament itself and the domestic leagues' Summer Splits? Overwatch League is making weird scheduling choices and I hope they don't make this a regular thing. I have hope that OWL and CDL can survive until next year and have fans in the building again. Esports organizations are already running Valorant tournam...

April 14 2020: Spicy Runbacks and Major Upsets 14.04.2020

Riot continues their domination of twitch and all of esports with a great showing from the LCS Spring Playoffs. The Overwatch League landscape shifts after a telling set of results. Call of Duty League's return has more than a few technical issues, but quality of the games themselves makes up for it somewhat.  The NBA's televised HORSE tournament feel completely flat but there is a light at t...

April 10 2020: Thanks Riot 10.04.2020

LCS Spring Playoffs are heating up, some choking, heavy favorites and SILVER SCRAPES. Welcome back Call of Duty League and thanks for the awesome weekend. Overwatch League has some interesting story lines heading into the weekend. Valorant beta is AWESOME, Riot nailed this one and they deserve to dominate twitch the way they have this week. NBA HORSE competition, the Buccaneers and Falcons get ver...

April 7th 2020: Welcome to Esports 07.04.2020

The Mash Up makes its triumphant return with breakdowns of the the weekend's action in Overwatch League and the LCS. The NFL won't stop for anything and I'm very happy because free agency has been insane. The CoD League finally comes back this weekend and I like they way they're doing it. The Masters is moving to November and it's going to be very strange to watch. I have withdrawal for Valorant d...

March 10 2020: The Cream Always Rises to the Top 10.03.2020

Jake recaps the last weekend of the college basketball regular season and gloats about the one upset he picked. Overwatch League teams are starting to set the tone for who they will be the rest of the season (Justice and Uprising in particular) and the new Hero Pool kinda sucks but that's what can happen when you randomly ban four characters in a game with only 31 total. The Lightning and Bruins n...

March 6th: I Love March!! 06.03.2020

Jake recaps a week full of upsets as March delivers again and why team should still be careful over the weekend. Call of Duty League is back this weekend and WE HAVE LINEUP CHANGES! Atlanta Faze is totally winning the weekend right? Al Michaels possibly getting traded to ESPN(please do it NBC) and Schrodinger's Quarterback. Overwatch is back in DC and I'm ready for ALL OF THE DIVE!! Rapid fire: St...

March 3rd: MARCH IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!!! 02.03.2020

College basketball gives its loyal fans a preview of the Madness and tells Leap Year to suck it. Overwatch has another good weekend in Houston and we found the two inconsistent teams that will frustrate their fans all season, the Outlaws got their first win and pulled off another first for esports as a whole. Stop trying to justify Zion as ROY, he's not no matter how hard you reach. Cloud9 have a...

February 28 2020: This is TOTALLY FINE 28.02.2020

The muddy college basketball picture starts to clear up a little as we approach Tournament time. Atlanta Reign finally play their first match of the season this weekend, the other matches leave a little to be desired (at least on paper.) The Sixers are a mess, Drake just needs to stop, poor Bradley Beal. Two major esports have their premiere events effected in some way by the coronavirus. Please d...

February 25 2020: Upsets and Wild Finishes Everywhere, And The NHL Trade Deadline. 25.02.2020

The NHL Trade Deadline, Ovi's 700th and David Ayers. A wild weekend full of upsets at CDL Atlanta, shaky performances from Chicago, Prestini's coming out party and a tale of two iconic Call of Duty legacies. College basketball, not to be outdone gives fans a taste of the Madness with big upsets and a few wild finishes. Overwatch League DC didn't match CDL's insanity but managed a couple upsets and...

February 21 2020: Dumb Rich People and a Stacked Weekend Schedule 21.02.2020

Overwatch League's Washington Homestand starts with three really good games on Saturday (for different reasons)  and three not so great games on Sunday. College basketball is settling down for probably the last time this season before the Tournament. The LCS has fallen back to its old ways of mediocrity, Riot still hasn't announced a location for MSI and Faker gets his reward. LeBron is calli...

February 18 2020: Rob Manfred Sucks 18.02.2020

Jake is once again joined by friend of the show Jonathan Holloway to discuss Rob Manfred's continued botching of the sign stealing scandal and his overall terrible performance as commissioner. Jake and Jonathan also discuss potential changes to the four top NFL broadcast teams, the Myles Garrett/Mason Rudolph story that doesn't seem to go away, the NBA All Star game and surprises at the unofficial...
