He counselled the bookish teens and established a bond that transformed the vulnerable students into a family unit. As expected, everything fell to shit and now an expose by the classmate of a former housemate has shed light on the bizarre cult that originated on a colle...

In 2009, Jess was working as a flight attendant when she met Australian heartthrob Lincoln Lewis. The two chatted and joked and before Lewis disembarked, they snapped a selfie together.  Jess posted the image to Facebook and, feeling cheeky, added Lincoln as a friend. Surprisingly, he accepted and after a two year radio silence, he one day reached out. He said he was in LA for a movie premier...

The story of Cameron Todd Willingham, a man sentenced to death for the murder of his three children, is full of holes. Convicted and sentenced to death, Willingham maintained his innocence for the 12 years he spe...

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a hoax? On October 15, 2009, an oddly functional homemade helium-filled gas balloon (shaped like a flying saucer) was released into the atmosphere above Fort Collins, Colorado.  The balloons creator Richard Heene claimed his aptly-named 6-year-old son Falcon was inside. A media frenzy and search party ensued. Luckily the boy was found safe and sound. Unlucki...

For 17 years he was known...

Chances are this one will ring a ding dong (pun intended). The story of Lorena and John Bobbitt first gripped the public in 1993 when the couple’s explosive marriage began dominating headlines. Their tale was one of violence, assault and...dismemberment.  It was a crime so unimaginable, its trial resulted in constant live streaming and dominance of a 24-hour news cycle. Was Lorena a cold bloo...

Tania Head had an incredible story. She claimed to be a survivor of the 9/11 attacks, and told an incredible tale of heroism, loyalty and perseverance. She however, was one of only 19 people to survive who were above the point...

In October 2013, a young girl was found wandering O’Connell Street. She was distressed, mute and Gardaí suspected that she may have escaped from a trafficking ring. Nobody could have imagined who the girl really was. On this week’s episode o...
