There are a couple Christmas enemies that are attempting to suck the joy out of Christmas. The go by the names of "Family drama, Comparison, and Anxiety & Worry." How do we combat these enemies? Join us this Sunday for the conclusion of the Gospel According to Elf.

There are Christmas imposters that are attempting to suck the life out of the true Christmas. Are you able to identify these imposters and are you willing to celebrate the true reason for the season?

What does it mean that Jesus is the Son of God and why does it matter? We answer this important question in week 2 of The Gospel According to Elf!

We're kicking off our Christmas series called, The Gospel According to Elf. This week we see a clip from the movie where Buddy discovers he's not an elf, but a human! We're reminded of the incarnation, when God put on flesh. That's when God became incredibly human with the sole purpose of redeeming mankind.

Today we conclude our series talking about how we can use the habits of eating, serving others, and sharing our story as a way to share our faith with our neighbors.

As followers of Jesus we're called to share our faith. But it can seem like a daunting or nerve-wrecking task. This week we lay the foundation for how we are to BLESS our neighbors, share our lives, and share the gospel.

There have been so many amazing lessons throughout the book of Philippians. As we finish up our series, this week we're reminded that the only thing that truly matters is the gospel. And we're gospel people. What do gospel people do? Tune in this week at Swerve!

What happens when we exercise generosity? How does our generosity impact others? How does it impact the heart of God? This week as we close out Philippians we learn what happens when we give.

When you think about the relationship between a pastor and his church, what word comes to mind? Paul called the church in Philippi his partner. This week we'll learn how we can partner with our pastors and church leaders.

How would you rate your level of contentment? We often base our contentment on our circumstances or resources. This week we learn the secret to being content.

Paul calls the church in Philippi and generous and caring church. How can we also be generous and caring?

Did you ever think about what you think about? This week Paul will challenge us to think on God things!

What do you do when you experience anxiety? Paul lays out a framework we can follow to begin to cast our anxieties to God.

Our ability to rejoice is not contingent on circumstances but is dependent on God's grace. In this week's passage, Paul reminds us to rejoice...again! Why? Maybe because we too often forget.

Conflict is a part of life. How we deal with it can make all the difference. As followers of Jesus, we want to resolve conflict in a way that honors God and that is a good gospel witness.

What do you think makes a great church? The music? The building? The lead pastor? The truth is it doesn't matter what you think! Let's look to God's Word and allow that to help us define a great church!

What happens when this life is over? What of sickness and death? We were never designed for the here and now because heaven is our home. Paul help us understand what's next.

Paul gives an example of who NOT to imitate in this week's message from our walk through of Philippians.

We're called to imitate those who live out their faith faithfully. We're also called to lead others to follow us as we follow Christ.

Faith is a journey. Where we are today is not where we were yesterday. And by the grace of God, tomorrow we'll be even further along. We're called to mature as followers of Christ. Are you growing in your walk with Christ?

Focusing on the past can keep you from reaching forward. God wants you to pursue His best!
