Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! For our second Parleys at the Platter special, I invited Dr. Holly Ordway, Alexi Sargeant, and Katherine S. to discuss something that I'm not sure is talked about all that often: the critical role (pun win) that Tolkien and his Catholicism had in helping to shape Dungeons & Dragons, modern fantasy, and nerd culture at large. So join this fellowship of faith,...

We join the table of my niece, Lexi! She's never been a stranger to playing pretend, fairy stories, or using her imagination. So she rolled some dice and made an Astral Elf that is friends with a dragon!
