October 20th, 2024 | Are you wondering if following Jesus is the best "deal" for your life? Let's explore what it means to accept His invitations. Jesus calls us to come to Him for rest, forgiveness, and purpose. But this also means committing to a life of discipleship—denying ourselves, taking up our cross daily, and following Him. The true value lies in a life lived with God, filled with joy, pe...

October 13th, 2024 | We are called to go out and share the gospel, spreading the good news of Jesus to the world. In Luke 24:36 -52, Jesus appeared to His disciples, proving the reality of His resurrection and giving them this very mission. He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures and sent them to proclaim His message of hope and salvation. Just as they were empowered by His presence, we...

October 6th, 2024 | Our hearts naturally pursue what we value most, whether it’s possessions, status, or God’s kingdom. Jesus teaches that where our treasure is, our hearts will follow, but our hearts can be distracted by worldly concerns like money and fear. Luke 12:22 -34 reminds us not to worry about our needs, as God is a loving Father who delights in providing for us. Instead of being motivat...

September 29, 2024 | God calls us to greatness, but His path looks different from what the world teaches. The "greatness" of achievement, reputation, and power can burden and exhaust our souls. Instead, Jesus offers us a way of rest and humility (Matthew 11:28 -30), where true greatness is found in Him. By following Jesus, we can be part of God's Kingdom now, pointing others to the hope that is to...

September 22, 2024 | Forgiveness can feel difficult, but it's essential to living a life rooted in Christ. Jesus teaches us that just as we’ve been forgiven completely by God, we’re called to forgive others (Matthew 18:21 -35). Holding onto grudges, pain, or regret only keeps us trapped, but forgiveness sets us free. Forgiveness isn’t about pretending the hurt didn’t happen, but about choosing to...

When we give Him our attention and seek His presence, His living water transforms us from the inside out, refreshing our spirits and leading us to overf...

September 8, 2024 | Jesus calls us to build our lives on a solid foundation, like a house built on rock, by listening to His words and putting them into action (Matthew 7:24 -29). This unshakeable life is found through a "with-God" life where we live in partnership with Him. Jesus invites us to take His yoke, promising that in learning from Him, we will find true rest for our souls (Matthew 11:28...

The Bible encourages us to seek peace and stand firm in God's grace, even when life gets tough. God promises to guide us, provide for us, and strengthen us, no matter what challenges we face. By positioning ourselves in His grace, we can confidently navigate life...

August 25, 2024 | Life often feels like a battle between our desire to control everything and the call to trust in God. We spend so much energy trying to make things happen our way, leading to anxiety and frustration when they don’t. But true peace comes from releasing that control and trusting in God's will. By letting go and placing our faith in Him, we can find freedom from the pressures of con...

August 18, 2024 | In life, we often react to what happens around us, but even on days full of frustrations, it’s possible to have a good day—a good life. We are called to a different understanding of the "good life," one where we trust God as our Shepherd and Guardian. By living with integrity, honoring others, and doing good, even in difficult circumstances, we reflect God’s presence with us. The...
