ASSURANCE FOR TODAY AND EVER (Unto the Hills)

Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. Joshua 24:15 "And if you be unwilling to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” There is no room for neutrality. It is either you are for God or you are agains...

What am I doing with my sins? (1John 1:9) What am I doing with my soul? (Matthew 16:26) What am I doing with my bible? (2Timothy 2:15) What am I doing with Jesus' Christ invitation? (Mark 1:15)

Little did the proprietors of that inn at Bethlehem imagine to whom it was that they were saying no vacancies when Joseph and Mary sought lodging there. What they did in guiltless ignorance, men too often do in willful rejection. In ou...

Today, let us explore the paradox that exists in our spiritual journey – the concept of being close yet far. As we delve into the pages of Scripture, we find instances where proximity does not always guarantee intimacy with God. In the Gospel of Mark, we encounter a story that epitomizes this paradox. Jesus encounters a scribe who approaches Him with a sincere question about the greatest commandme...

Resolutions are typical this time of year. Most of us will make a resolution, promising to make changes in our lives for the better. Therefore, commitment, dedication and determination are in full swing and great abundance. Losing weight, exercising more, better financial stability and enjoying life rank high on most lists. However, as February rolls around, fires cool and steam fizzles, but it sh...
