Everyone is always selling something, whether we realize it or not…Audi, Nike, Apple… our favorite restaurant or vacation destinations. Few of us ever stop to ask whose interests we are advancing. Nations, brands, and companies will all pass away, Meanwhile there is one mission that will stand forever. What would it look like to passionately devote ourselves to advancing that agenda? In this world, where we are valued by what we do, our identity comes from what we accomplish. This hellish belief causes us to strive endlessly to live up to some external standard, or to gauge our self-worth by how well we compare to those around us. How can we escape this despairing and beaten-down way to live? Website | https://pathfinderstl.org Online Giving | https://pathfinderstl.org/give Po...

It is tempting to give our allegiance to the things that promise us prosperity, protection, and security, like a family, a nation, or an economic system. And while we can straddle, being loyal to Christ AND _____, what happens when those values or callings come in conflict? Even though we might try to keep a foot in each camp, as group divisions widen, we must ultimately decide which one we will p...

The journey from one’s head to one’s heart is the most important journey a Christ-follower can make. God can draw from not just our pain and our mistakes to draw him closer to us, but also our inborn passions. In Drew’s journey we see that God puts things in us, dreams and passions, that he then uses to draw us back to him.
