Brief reflections on the importance of language and how it can often be manipulated – particularly in the political sphere here in New Zealand.

Many would agree the Government's vaccination roll-out so far has been a bit of a shambles (to say the least).  Constituents tell me they're experiencing mixed signals, long wait times – asking if Labour are simply 'making things up as they go' – and I'm inclined to agree, as we are falling behind the rest of the world Is this good enough?

Following a few interesting discussions on Anzac Day – two things in particular have been on my mind.  The first being the importance of free speech, and what was faught for.  And the second being more geopolitical in nature; and how we must 'stand with our mates' in these precarious times.  Have a listen – and I'd love to know if you have any thoughts on this.
