In a message titled Freedom of Speech, Pastor Jarod explores the biblical weight of our words in a culture that celebrates saying whatever we want. While the First Amendment protects free expression in the natural, Scripture reveals that spiritual speech carries binding and loosing power—shaping destinies, relationships, and even eternal outcomes. Drawing from James, Proverbs, and the words of Jes...

For Student Takeover Sunday, Pastor Josh breaks down the creation narrative and some student camp experiences to reveal God's heart for rhythms of rest in our lives. The Bible reveals that time is a gift from God to be stewarded, although our busy lives sometimes lead to a stewardship problem with time. We need to return to God's drawing board by studying Genesis 1 and the life of Jesus to redisco...

Teaching Pastor Michael Stephens continues our Freedom series by looking at how Jesus dismantled a religious spirit that prioritized performance over relationship. Walking through stories in the Gospels, we see how cultural traditions had distorted God’s intent—turning rest into burden and obedience into competition. Jesus didn’t abolish the law; He taught and lived it rightly, revealing the heart...

In this message, Pastor Jarod uses the image of message settings to reveal how the messages we choose to accept give more access to the messenger. Based on 2 Corinthians 12:7–9, we see that Paul was harassed by a messenger of Satan, but instead of hiding it, he chose to boast in his weakness so the power of Christ could rest on him. Paul never played the victim—he stood under grace, not under the...

In this message, Pastor Jarod uses the picture of yard work to show how cutting back, growing up, and walking in freedom requires effort—but it’s worth the work. Based on 1 Thessalonians 5:23, we learn that God is the one who sanctifies us, but He can only sanctify what we surrender. Through four practical steps—Yielding, Alignment, Renewal, and Discipline—we discover how spiritual growth happens...

In Don’t Quit at “I Do”, Pastor Jarod takes us from the tragic fallout between Cain and God to the fiery outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. With powerful illustrations, cultural backstory, and scriptural depth, this message confronts a sobering truth: it’s possible to do spiritual things—sing, serve, give—without ever truly listening to God. Just like Cain, we can go through the motions w...

Drawing from Genesis 2, he explores why God placed two trees in the middle of the garden and how true love requires the freedom to choose. The message highlights that God’s commands are not about control but relationship—and that real freedom is found not in autonomy, but in walking with God. Through the stories of Ad...

His presence spans all of existence: He is the Father above us, the Son who walks beside us, and the Spirit who lives within us. God’s objective has always been the same — to be in re...

What Happened In The Garden | Jarod Smith, Lead Pastor When Peter stepped into the tomb, he didn’t find chaos—he found order. The face cloth was folded and set apart, like a quiet declaration from Jesus: “I’m not done. I’m coming back.” It wasn’t just a burial detail—it was a priestly statement. Just like the High Priest left his garments behind when the work was finished, Jesus left behind the li...
