After the Party, minus one Hootie, managed their way through the cube and found Lain in his disappearance, Hootie is left to safely guide the cube to a safe exit from Malbolge with the help of Greg the Fomorian. Along the way, he encounters many issues and has the party arrive at just the wrong time. Will they make it out safely or will the be stopped upon their exit?

After seeing the smoke from an undead invasion upon Kikitikipertuk, the party left the tavern they were celebrating in to help stop the onslaught. After fighting on the rooftops and losing track of Bam-Bam during his fight with a Giant undead, they found themselves under the city before a wall and pushed through to see the onslaught of undead coming to destroy the city.

In this scenario, investigators play the roles of unfortunate passengers on a ship heading for Rockport, Massachusetts, on Monday, April 12th, 1926, the night of the new moon. After dispatching Shadow Demons and exploring the multitude of planes within the Cube of Vanya, they find themselves under an endless ocean. They arrive to the top and swim for shore where they see a palm tree jungle and a docked boat. Shortly after reaching land, they hear yelling and recognize the voice of Akume and their long lost friend Lain and quickly run to aid.

After exploring the city of Kikitikipertuk, the party rest at a local tavern before a large invasion of undead begin to siege the city. The party makes their way through the garbage city of Roachlings, they approach the wall to find the undead army upon them.

The strange party of creatures of Midgard arrive to Kikitikipertuk, a bustling city underground built by roachlings. After defeating an undead bat above the cityscape, the party is approached by the shadow guard and informed to meet with a paladin in the lower parts of the city as they may be able to help them on their important quest to return the sun to the world of the undead.
