Once we know who we are and where God has placed us, we can identify what He is calling us to do. God's mission includes sharing the Gospel, making disciples, serving others, loving our neighbors, doing our best, and joining Him in the work He is already doing. Mission is less about finding something extraordinary and more about faithfully responding to opportunities around us.

God's mission for your life begins where He has already placed you. Everyday places such as homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and communities are mission fields where God wants to use you. While God may call some people to new places, He first invites all believers to faithfully serve where they already have influence.

The first step in discovering your mission is understanding who you are in Christ. Your identity is not found in your job, your failures, or other people's opinions, but in God's design and calling on your life. As God's masterpiece and new creation, you are continually being transformed into the person He created you to become.

Every believer has a mission that is spiritual, personal, communal, seasonal, powerful, and possible through God's strength. Mission is not reserved for pastors or missionaries—it applies to every area of life and every follower of Jesus. Discovering your mission begins by understanding who God created you to be and how He wants to use you for His glory.

The Good News of Jesus is for ANYONE and EVERYONE. Let's finish up the "Christmas Is..." series by celebrating the Gospel - and how it's for YOU too!
