Mantissa

“This is a journey through the kinds of tracks that catch my attention, draw me back in, and give me that extra boost as I begin to think about the end of the night. It features some tech house, rolling techno, and plenty of groovy basslines, sub-bass and dubby beats. That final hour of fun before you hit the road often turns out to be the best hour of the night!” @james-acquaye-nortey-glover

"Inspired by summertime in London, it's a pretty straight-ahead, fun, mix of techy and proggier numbers that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s meant to keep your head bopping and feet moving." @john_x

"A journey through some trippy parts of my collection with some older bits, but also quite a few new releases from the last year, this mix began life as preparation for an opening set I played for a party in Shinjuku a while ago. A rework by E-Prime from their forthcoming 4 track mixtape, out on August 23rd! "One of the things that makes our music personal and autobiographical is within our sonic explorations back to the sources of the music that has deeply informed our lives as musicians. This mixtape completely embodies that approach, both in the RnB, Hip Hop and old school house sounds we grew up with, but also in the r...

Rollers galore! @james-acquaye-nortey-glover @oatyg

"Last year I had the intention of recording a mix with a focus on drums and set a few records aside. I never got around to doing it as I didn’t feel inspired and the records got filed away. I recently went to a painting for decision making workshop and it reminded me how much I enjoyed being creative and how important creativity is for my mind. I was inspired to try the mix again. Some of the orig...
