A veteran of the London scene and Lion and Lamb resident Oli mentioned in interview with us; "I think the spirit of clubbing needs to be kept alive somehow through all of this. For our first Premiere of 2021 we present the remix of Enchanted Rizla by x-o1. C O N T X T is one of the most exciting producers around and we expect him to have a big 2021. This upcoming release however is 5 killer remixes of the tracks from his E.P; Lost. X-o1's take on Enchanted Rizla merges the murky, muddled ambient waters of the original track with a wavy, rave focused crashing kick and is...

"Its been a while since I’ve sat down properly to work on a mix and think about what I want to do with it. The first 30 minutes of this mix encompasses some of my most recent tracks, many of which i’ve never played in a mix before and found it super interesting to see what tracks they worked with. The rest of the mix has a bunch of tracks I’ve been listening to on repeat throughout lockdown." Plat...

"I made most of this mix during the roaring sun of the first lockdown in May, drinking beers in the garden with my top off, dreaming of tropical beaches, distant cultures and new adventures... finished just in time for Christmas! None of my experimental narrative bollocks here - just an hour of squelchy heaters that I hope will draw some smiles despite the reality around us. The sun will return an...

"I wanted this mix to be unpredictable yet also familiar, most importantly being a journey through all the emotions I experience when immersing myself in electronic music. I wanted to create moments of contrast, as well as taking the opportunity to showcase some amazing talent. There's unreleased music from SHLVES, a POC electronic-pop trio based in NYC, as well as a track from The Radio Relay Lea...

"The idea is quite simple. I miss the club. I miss club music. I miss dancing, forgetting what time it is, staying up late for no reason, I miss everything nightlife has to offer: chance encounters, sweat, laughter, tears, hugs, leaving the house to lose yourself... and basically I just really wanted to BANG IT OUT so it’s a surprisingly fast mix hah! I’ve been buying lots of tracks and releases e...

"2020 has been brimming with a lot difficult energies, I’ve found music a lot more difficult to connect with on a whole. I decided that, instead of stressing about what kind of mix I wanted this to be, I would piece together the music I’ve been listening to… which in some ways reflects the chaos we’ve all been feeling. It changes up quite a lot but its fast and ready, a modern ode to the club." Mi...
