Let's Talk Scripture

After the Dark Ages (Church of Thyatira - 600-1500AD) was the Protestant Reformation period from 1500-1700AD. From this time period the church benefitted from a number of concrete doctrinal, foundational truths that were re-established for Christendom. However, the revival of the church was short-lived because they continued the error of establishing state churches all over Europe. Therefore, thos...

After the two demon invasions of the 5th and 6th Trumpet Judgments, a mighty angel gives John the remaining revelations of judgment in a "little book". These are the judgments of the seven Bowl (or Vial) Judgments. But before all of this, he is given a picture of the two prophets who will have supernatural ministries during the first half of the Tribulation. The Two Witnesses | Revelation...

After the sounding of the 6th Trumpet, we wonder how could things possible get worse. However, that's just the case. The scene is prepared with a glorious angel who holds the revelation of the final 7 Bowl Judgments in a little book. John is commanded to eat that book so that he can declare the prophetic judgments contained therein. The Angel and the Little Book | Revelation Chapter 10 | Study...

After the devastating effects of the first 4 Trumpet Judgments, one-third of the world is destroyed. An eagle warns of greater and increasing judgments to come in the final three Trumpet Judgments. The fifth and sixth Trumpet Judgments bring two demonic invasions that cause untold pain and suffering to humanity. Revelation 7 answers the question, "Who is able to stand (survive the Tribulation)?". And it also tells of the 144,000 Jews who were sealed to protect them from the judgments of God and serve as evangelists throughout the world. They will have great success! However, many people who responded to their message of the gospel, will pay for their faith with their lives. They are seen as souls...

At the end of the first half of the Tribulation, the world seems like it's about to be torn apart by just the beginnings of the judgments of God. The inhabitants of the earth are left wondering in fear, who will be able to survive this. Revelation chapter 7 answers that question (the 144,000 Jews), but continues to reveal the massive number of deaths that will mount. The Tribulation Saints | R...

Please be sure to see the extended teaching that I gave on "What is the Tribulation" before watching this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oafM32dB3n0. It will help to explain the events that will be taking place from Revelation 6-19. So, to recap, the Tribulation is the 7 year period of God's dealing with the Jewish people while at the same time bringing judgment to the Gentile...

Before we get into Revelation chapter 6, I thought it would be a good idea to show you guys exactly what it is and how we come to understand it. Briefly, it is a period of seven years in which God in dealing with the Jewish people will also be bringing judgments upon the whole world. (The Tribulation) This is all contained in Revelation chapters 6-19. It ends with the return of Jesus in the 2nd Ad...

After Abraham's victory of faith in chapter 22, we now transition our focus on Isaac. But before this, Sarah dies. This chapter serves two main purposes for us: It shows Abraham's connection to the Land of Canaan (the Promised Land) as his home land; and it serves as a downpayment for God's future fulfillment in the day that He gives Abraham all tht He has promised him. The Death of Sa...

After the churches (church age), John was invited to the throne room of heaven. There he saw God sitting upon His glorious throne surrounded by angels and elders. But the key to understanding Revelation 4 and 5 is centered on the BOOK that He is holding in his right hand. No one, other than the Lamb of God - Jesus, the Messiah - is worthy to receive the book and reveal its contents. The Lamb Takes...

Now that the church has been raptured and is in heaven with the Lord, we prepare for the Tribulation Period. Abraham's greatest act of faith is his willingness to sacrifice his only son. Much of this depicts what God the Father will do through His own Son, Jesus the Messiah many centuries later. After the Reformation period, was the period of evangelism - Philadelphia (1700-1900). Like Smyrna, Jesus had nothing bad to say about this church. He graciously opened the door for evangelism and Christian missionary work all over the world. After Abraham's momentary lapse of faith (and the rescue of Sarah - again), God fulfills his promise to Abraham, and Isaac is born. There is much celebrating until Ishmael is seen taunting Isaac and Sarah demands that he and his mother Hagar be sent away. Abraham obeys God and He reassures him that He will bless his son. Abraham then settles in the land of Gerar of the Philistines and establis...

One of the most often confused and debated passages of Scripture is Genesis 6:1-4. The primary issue is the identity of "sons of God" בְנֵי־הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙. Are these the descendants of Shem, angelic beings or just righteous men? In this teaching we examine the historical elements of this passage along with the Satanic endeavor to prevent the birth of the Seed (Genesis 3:15). Advertising Inqu...
