"I'll Be In The Mirror"—Rough mix for instrumentation for a song from my next album. 01.10.2024

Thought I would share another rough mix of a song from my next album. Written by my late friend Greg Jones, it has never been released.

World Premier—Demo of my song "Why Did You Have To Smile At Me?" 21.09.2024

Four years later, I finally figured out the bridge. A rough recording, on my phone, but I'm happy with the song. The last song I had to finish writing for my next album of originals. Update: I uploaded an newer demo here, having added some rudimentary strings. Now I know what the song can be.

Someone Left The Cake Out In The Rain—Mystery Solved 18.09.2024

I have wondered for decades if the the lines "Someone left the cake out in the rain And don't that I can take it 'Cause it took so long to make it And I'll never have that recipe again" were a joke. I found the answer! https://waynerobins.substack.com/p/jimmy-webb-the-meaning-of-macarthur

Noel Casler, Renaissance Man, Tore Up His NDA To Tell The Truth About Trump and Is A National Treasure 09.09.2024

He worked on The Celebrity Apprentice TV show as the Trump family's handler. He loathes them. When Trump decided to run for President, he tore up his enormous NDA and started telling the stories that had been kept secret for so long. He's a great writer and a fine guitarist. Here is his Substack page: https://noelcasler.substack.com/ Here is his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NoelCasler...

One week out from the home invasion 31.08.2024

It Hurts To Look At Willie Nelson's Guitar, Trigger 30.08.2024

He makes beautiful music with it, but it pains me to look at Willie Nelson's guitar, Trigger. Below is a video of five facts about the guitar. I just learned he uses a guitar pick. That explains the hole. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7IKXJ9UJVA

Ringing The Doorbell & Running Away, Looking Back From Afar 30.08.2024

The man chased us in his car around the neighborhood for a half-an-hour. We were terrified and thrilled. Looking back, I think it must have been performative on his  part. We never rang his doorbell to run away, again. Too scared.

Long Live PIXELS at an Exhibition 25.08.2024

Bye-bye to the old site, hello to the new.

Kamala 25.08.2024

I feel that change is in the air.

Raw Sugar Is Bullshit 25.08.2024

I went to a Starbucks this morning for a coffee. They were out of white sugar so I went to a hipster cafe nearby. All they had was "raw" sugar packets. That shit is not sweet and is absolutely not any healthier than refined white sugar. It's just tribal virtue signalling.

Home Evasion, Pistol-Whipped As I Slept 25.08.2024

That's right. These assholes were trying to rob my next door neighbor in the warehouse where I live. They didn't find anything. On their way out, they kicked down the between his space and mine and they saw me. They thought I could tell them where the money and weed was. I couldn't. I'm glad they didn't kill me. They sure threatened to.

It’s World Bee Day. Let us sing the praises of bees! 18.08.2024
Bill Wilson Bob Smith David Jones 18.08.2024

The most impactful men I have encountered, with such bland, commonplace names.

A reading: Dylan Thomas ~ Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night 17.08.2024

Kinda speaks to me at the moment. I didn't realize he died at 39. A drinker and a smoker and a philanderer, he died primarily of a lung infection. Do not go gentle into that good night by Dylan Thomas 1914–1953 Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because thei...

better cat ladies, than fascist closet queens 30.07.2024

I am laughing about J.D. Vances attack on Kamala Harris, and the Democrats, calling us a bunch of childless cat ladies. I am a cat lady and I have two sons and two grandchildren.

The disappearing blonde [miraculously] reappeared 25.07.2024
A beautiful acoustic remix of David Bowie's song, "Sound and Vision," 20.07.2024

I prefer this version to the one on the album, but both are great. I just love the more delicate sound that reflects the very vulnerable and fragile state he was in, having escaped the cocaine-feuled hellscape that almost killed him in Los Angeles.

Demo from my next album ~ I'll Be In The Mirror 20.07.2024

My friend Greg Jones wrote this beautiful ballad. It will be the only non-original song on my upcoming album. It's very rough and I will be bringing in a cellist to complete the arrangement.

If you believe in the power of prayer, please say one for me! 20.07.2024

Hi, I'm looking for a new place for me and Monkey Blue, found a really cool one, but I have competition. Your thoughts and prayers appreciated.
