Elisha the prophet was old and about to die but he’s still got it, doesn’t he!?  Two more miracles in this final sermon and final message on the life of Elisha!  He left a legacy.

2nd Kings 9:1-37 A phrase shows up multiple times in this chapter, 7 times in fact:     Why did all this happen??  Because God said so, that’s why !   What God says will happen.  I want to preach on that thought, “Mark My Words.”   Elisha said some things would happen; and they would; and they did.  Mark his words!  

Chapter 8 picks up again chronologically through the Tribulation Period.  We see a turn of events as John sees the seventh and final seal judgment being opened on the book revealed to us before (Rev. 5:1).  This 7th Seal is different from the others, in that it is not just 1 judgment but multiple judgments.  Let’s see what the chapter unveils on God’s stage of the future… 

When did the Lord Jesus Christ die on the cross? Was He really in the grave three days and three nights as He said? Is it really "Good Friday", or should it be "Good Wednesday", or some other day? Does it really matter as to when Christ died? These questions and more are answered in this sermon.

2nd Kings 8:1-6 Restore/d shows up 5 times in these verses (v.1; v.5a; v.5b; v.5c; v.6); that’s more times in this chapter than in any other chapter of the Bible!  That’s significant!  Here’s a woman who in a normal situation would have lost everything, but instead she was restored and not ignored!  I want to preach on that thought today.  The king restored her and did not ignore her; more so thou...

Revelation 7:9-17 V.9 opens up with “ After this”  and we see a turn of events in the Lord’s drama He is unveiling to us.  As we saw 144,000 sealed  physically  in the first part of chapter 7, we now see multitudes sealed  spiritually .  They have put their trust in Christ and thus have become Tribulation Saints.

2nd Kings 8:7-15 .  Notice the word “dog” in v.13.  That’s how Hazael referred to himself.  This was a sad and ugly story wasn’t it!?  Our world is often sad and ugly.  As it has been said, we are living in a “dog-eat-dog” world.  That phrase refers to people competing or fighting ruthlessly, not caring for one another, only caring about self.  That sounds like Hazael!  That sounds like our world...

Last lesson was very intense with the horrors on earth as God unleashes His judgment upon it.  Thankfully in chapter 7 we learn of a positive “seal” compared to the negative seals of chapter 6.  The seals of chapter 6 were locks on the scroll to be opened revealing God’s judgment.  The seal of chapter 7 is God’s protection of a special group called out by God for His special work in the last days....

The Bible talks about The Fall.  A different kind of Fall. The Fall of mankind.  And we see Gehazi’s personal Fall in this passage.  We also see the curse that came upon him!  Fall though beautiful is also a time of death; the leaves fall off and die; the bleak cold winter is coming!  There’s a lesson for us all in that; and there’s a lesson for us all in this passage:

As we saw last time, Revelation chapter 6 reveals the Tribulation Period has begun!  It is a most terrible time on earth, involving much war, bloodshed, and death.   Come and See …the very words taken off the pages of Revelation 6, repeated 4 times.  Read  Rev. 6:1-8.   And with that, the Bible invites us to view this horrific time called the Tribulation Period.  Are you ready to “come and see!?”

I want to preach to you today from probably the best known story and the best known miracle of Elisha the prophet! Naaman and his leprosy. Listen and see how Naaman had to quit trying his own way and obey God’s way.

2nd Kings 4:42-44 Christ fed the multitudes. He is the Great Miracle Worker! Notice how Elisha the prophet points to Christ The Great Prophet. What a miracle here, and we praise God for heat He did here and what He did through Christ! Yet another purpose of this passage is to give great application here for the Church.

A new Act in this end times Drama that God is revealing to us! The tribulation period is covered in Revelation chapter 6-18! From a worldly perspective, this is what makes the book of Revelation scary or very interesting and exciting to people. Many want to study this part!
