iorie & bawab – Down to the Beat 💭 In this scene, some artists are almost inseparably linked to the sound of Downtempo. iorie and bawab are two of those unique characters who have shaped the genre with their very own signature over the years. Their musical paths have crossed more than once in the past, and whenever these two creative minds come together, you can be sure something special is about...

Our next EP, "Feeling Great", is another very special release for us, as it was written by two of our closest friends, Überhaupt & Außerdem. The opening track, "Feel In", combines a deep house vibe with warm vocals that bring back a nostalgic feeling. The release is rounded off by a reinterpretation from Kyong Sono, who adds his own distinctive touch to the original. The second track, "It's Going...

💭 Liminal describes a state between places, moods, or moments. A space where you find yourself in between, unsure of what comes next. Should you leave or stay? Go to the afterparty or go to bed? Hold on or let go? Liminal is a question, a quiet threshold, an undefined space where everything feels open, slightly unreal, exciting and a little frightening at the same time. But maybe that is exactly...

We are so happy to present our 20th single at PBP. This time, with a special collab between Tlazohtla & R3NATA. Combining a fusion of melancholic melodies, fierce vocals and dark sounds “No Hesitation” was born. Sometimes, we stay stuck in the same loop, hoping things will change, when what really needs to change is the way we act/move forward. No Hesitation is about breaking the cycle, trusting y...

Our next EP, Suspiro, by I.M.D and Christian Hülshoff is another special highlight for us for a number of reasons. For one, the idea for the project came about during a trip to Prague with friends. Musically, it also reconnects with the melodic downtempo sounds we’ve always loved and would like to keep alive. The EP furthermore includes three wonderful remixes by our longtime companions Herrhausen...

Gedanklich lassen wi...

‘Quester’ feels like exploring the forest. A continuous excitement to see what’s over the next hill. "After years of constantly putting out EPs, I wanted to slow down and make a complete thought, start to finish. Lotic is named for the process of shifting, navigating, and growing in moving water.
