Insanity Check

Kriss is joined by Justin this week. We spend a little bit of time talking about the Dem wins on election night and the government shutdown. It’s (hopefully) becoming more clear to Americans (the majority) that the GOP’s sole goal in life is to punish everyday Americans. Maybe just maybe they’ll start to understand. But the majority of the episode is talking about how Tech Bros a...

Kriss and Ro are back for a new episode of The Insanity Check and there’s plenty of dumb shit to go over.  First, why are snickers…regular snickers…$2? This is absurd. Almost as absurd as having a Nazi tattoo (THE Nazi Tattoo) and trying to claim you didn’t know it was a Nazi Tattoo. Graham Platner once again proves how white men are given the  benefit of the doub...

New episode of the Insanity Check with the host of the Unanimous Decision, Dpalm. We start the show with talking about how things in UNC are going as well as everyone (with a brain) expected with Bill Belichick. Also why has sports commentary become so terrible? And Kriss once again complains about how much we’ve just allowed gambling to take over sports. Other topics: Peter Thiel is absolut...

We’re back with another Insanity Check. It’s getting to the point where these episodes are more like weekly therapy sessions so we can try to make it through all the horrible shit that’s coming up in the week. Kriss is joined by Ro this time and we’re talking through some of the connective threads through all the things we’re dealing with. The ability to see connectio...

Kriss is joined by Karen from the Black Guy Who Tips. A good portion of the show we end up talking about the beginning of the discussion between Ezra Klein and Ta-Nehisi Coates on Ezra’s podcast. It’s a good (if not sometimes frustrating) discussion between the two in which it becomes clear that Klein, is so focused on not losing that it’s a set up to not win. Coates challenges (...

Kriss is back with another episode of the Insanity Check after some time off. This week he’s joined by Brandon (PhenomBlak) to talk about all the craziness that’s unfolded the last few weeks. One thing that’s becoming more clear is that this country is being led by people who don’t know what they’re doing. And we’re not just talking about the Government and the...

Topics: Don’t fall for the “if you don’t break the law, there won’t be any issues” lie. People forget how unlawful each of us are each day  How ICE spies on American citizens We all need to be a bit ageist…across the board. Older folks need to know when to (and be able to) retire after teaching/mentoring the younger generation The younger generation needs t...

Topics: Eric Adams and his people are pure comedy from a corruption perspective  Giving cash in a chip bag to a reporter? The Tea App…spills the tea on all it’s users because of really poor data security …brought to you by A.I. White people have no natural predators and it shows in their poor instincts and behavior The Great Unblackening of Media White media is way more focu...

Topics: Being outside is terrible these days during the Summer (and yet the EPA thinks everything is fine) Americans have terrible reading comprehension and that means we can’t solve our complicated problems because no one will understand it When do we admit that the problem isn’t our political system but the people that participate in it?  Gentle parenting is the 400 level parent...

New Insanity Check with Kriss & guest Dpalm Topics: Men on podcasts can be annoying but there is a certain genre of good natured male foolishness podcasts that can stay Fuck Hulk Hogan – He was a shitty person in and out of the ring White people always want to give the “benefit of the doubt” to obviously terrible people The rush to “get ahead” with A.I. Never Forg...

Two episodes in the same month. Maybe we really are back. Kriss is joined by Justin and as promised, we bring good news in a sea of dumb shit: The Clipse are back with a great motivational coke raps album. With everything going on it’s good to see some legends come back with an album that not only feels like they never left but is clearly a passion for them. If only everything else was that...

What better thing to bring Kriss out of his cave than Trump and the GOP passing a bill that lies to people about the tax cuts they were promised, gives wealthy Americans way more in deductions, cuts Medicaid and makes ICE the most well funded federal law enforcement agency all while adding $3-4 Trillion to the deficit. Fantastic. While everyone is talking about Democrat vs Republicans, Capitalism...

One last Insanity Check for 2024. Kriss and Ro pop in to talk about the pyramid schemes of tech bros that have convinced the population: That they’re smart when they’re in fact idiots Leading us down the most stupid path possible We were promised a Star Wars future but instead we’re getting one closer to Blade Runner. Oh joy. Tech bros have priced the average American out of tech...

Kriss said the Insanity Check is back and well, there’s now 2 in less than a week. Because…podcasting is cheaper than therapy.  Dpalm got tricked into joinig into the mess. Enjoy Kriss is has moved over to BlueSky, same handle as Twitter: Insanityreport.bksy.social Like what you hear? Subscribe so you don’t miss an episode!   Follow us on BlueSky: @InsanityReport  ...

There’s only one thing that would bring Kriss and the Insanity Check back from podcast retirement and that’s the absolutely insanity that is the spitefulness, dumbness and racism that would elect Trump a second time…giving him not only the popular vote but the Senate and House. All because of racism, sexism and the fact that the average American has the thought process & atte...

I told you all that you would never know when I would drop another Insanity Check and well…here we are. I was able to convince DPalm to join me so you know that means it was a crazy ass week. It’s also very clear that I’m too old for this shit. We’ve come full circle. I lived through the DotCom bubble only to see idiots going down the Web3.0/Crypto/NFT grift. Fun times. Anyway, there’s plenty to c...

It’s here. The final Insanity Check (sorta). Kriss brings on two of his favorite guests, Rod & Karen from The Black Guy Who Tips for this final episode. There’s plenty to talk about since the last episode. Joe Biden won the general election and has won it like 30 more times since November 3rd. Trump has continued to lose it since then and all it has done is shown how insane and dan...

We’re down to the final two (planned) episodes of the Insanity Check. For this episode I’m joined by Justin from 3FifsPodcast and we’re able to breathe a sigh of relief because Joe Biden pulled it off and beat Trump in the 2020 election. Sure, we know this isn’t going to solve everything, but not having a dictator-wannabe in office is a huge improvement.  Topics: Biden...

We’re only 3 episodes away from the end of the Insanity Check. It’s more real now as I type that. Add in the fact that we recorded this episode only a few days before election night 2020 and well, there’s a lot of anxiety going on. So I decided that for this episode, I’d take the Insanity Check back to its roots: Covering crazy news. This week I’m joined by Aaron from...

Kriss is back with another episode of the Insanity Check to cover this month’s dose of insanity in the world. This month is a little  bit different. 2020 might have finally broken Kriss. This was going to be a solo show but Ro manipula…convinced, Kriss to instead use this show to talk about the new documentary “All In: The Fight For Democracy”. Of course this just made...
