John Landis' classic is still worth a watch in 2024 but is it still the genre defining classic its billed as.

This is a remake that can't even be considered in the same league, neigh, the same sport as the original. Tom Everet Scott and Julie Delpy cant bring this low rent sequel/reboot in for even a "so bad its good" landing. We watch so you dont have to and if you had cables in the early 00's, then listen along to the dumbest werewolf movie imaginable, and the includes The Howling sequels.

Let's just say it, Kurt Russel does a waaaaay better job than Costner in the part of Wyatt Earp. This modern Classic is a movie Meredith and i have seen a hundred times. Dod our run in with Costner's Earp give us a new appreciation of this flick or did it leave us wishing there was a bit more here.

Everyone loves and remembers Tombstone but this competing film is almost completely forgotten. The 2012 version of Silent Night Deadly night is a remake in name only. While we certainly both would have appreciated another take on Billy and "Punishment" we instead received a solid if underwhelming horror movie.
