In early September, the new Downtown Market Grand Rapids opened with many indoor vendors, including a temporary location for Rylee's Ace Hardware. They stocked the market with discount Fiestaware. The Fiesta Pantry opened Sept. 6, and in first 4 days, most of it was gone. There are still several pieces left, said Rylee's Lori Terpstra. She estimates about 85 percent is gone. He said the "You Are Awesome" idea came to life when Jennifer Jurgens, a Spring Lake (Michigan) resident, spotted a kid standing on a busy corner with a handwritten, cardboard sign.
