Forget Me Not

Reflect, today, on how you can follow Mary’s example and offer your own personal act of love to Jesus. What can you pour out for Him this week, your time, your talents, your treasures, or your prayers? How can you make this Holy Week a time of real devotion, a way to show Jesus just how much you love Him? Let your love be sincere and generous, given simply because He is worthy.

Whether through silent prayer, spiritual reading, or a retreat, seek that sacred place where you can listen to Him without distraction. Reflect today on this profound revelation: I AM. God exists in the present, and it is only in this present moment that we can meet Him. The past is gone. The future is not yet here. All we have is now, and this now is where God is. Choose to live in His presence today, for it is in this moment alone that we find Him. 

Reflect, today, on Jesus' powerful words: *"Know the truth, and the truth will set you free."* What truths—psychological or spiritual—do you need to understand more deeply? Where do confusion or falsehoods still hold you back? Seek the truth as God reveals it, and trust that true freedom awaits. 

Reflect, today, on the deep and mysterious language of God. When you read His words, especially in the Gospel of John, how do you respond? Do you find yourself moved to faith, or do you struggle to believe? If your heart is uncertain, ask God for the grace of faith. His words have the power to change your life—if you are open to receiving them. 

Reflect, today, on the coming hour of Jesus. As Holy Week approaches, we will once again witness His suffering, arrest, and death—events that may seem like a scandal and a triumph of evil. Reflect, today, on the virtue of patient endurance. Life’s trials are not just burdens; they are opportunities to grow in faith, hope, and perseverance. How do you respond to your own struggles? Do you endure them with patience, trust, and even joy? Or do you fall into frustration, bitterness, or despair? Ask God for the grace to endure with faith, just as this man did, and trust that He will brin...

Reflect, today, on the depth of your faith. Do you love and serve God even when life is difficult? Even when He doesn’t take away your burdens? Seek to trust Him in all circumstances, and you will discover how strong and sustaining true faith can be. 

Reflect, today, on the image of these sinners drawing near to Jesus. Though they may have hesitated at first, they were filled with hope as they heard about the father’s overwhelming mercy. Reflect today on your own openness to God's Kingdom. Is there a truth in Christ’s teaching that you resist? Are there aspects of His will that you find difficult to accept? Pray for the grace to receive God's truth with faith, allowing it to transform your heart. The Kingdom of God is always near—may we welcome it with trust and joy. 

Reflect, today, on your own call to holiness. If God's expectation of perfection seems overwhelming, remember that you are not meant to achieve it by human effort alone. Ask for the grace to understand and embrace this calling. With God’s help, what seems impossible to human reason becomes not only possible but life-giving. 

Reflect, today, on Mary’s words: "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." How is God calling you to echo this prayer in your own life? Are you willing to fully surrender to His will, even without complete understanding? Pray for the grace to trust as Mary did, offering your own fiat with a heart open to God's plan.  

Reflect, today, on the truth that any suffering or injustice you endure can be transformed for God’s glory and the salvation of souls. If He allows it, He has a purpose for it. Offer your suffering to Him with trust, knowing that through the power of the Cross, He can bring forth something far greater than the pain itself. 

Reflect, today, on the image of yourself as the fig tree and Jesus as the divine Gardener. Allow Him to cultivate your heart by deepening your love for Scripture, engaging more fully in the Sacraments, committing to daily prayer, examining your conscience sincerely, and seeking forgiveness for your sins. Reflect, today, on your own response to God's mercy. Do you rejoice when others receive blessings, even if they seem undeserved? Or do you, like the older son, hold onto resentment? True mercy goes beyond what feels fair. It calls us to celebrate healing, restoration, and the boundless love of God.

Reflect, today, on your mission to bear good fruit for God's Kingdom. This can only be done by prayerfully discerning how He is calling you to act. Seek to follow His will so that everything you do brings Him glory and helps bring souls to salvation.
