Fearless Films

Send us Fan Mail I'm pretty sure Pete organized this episode to get back at Kevin.  In this 100th episode movie recap extravaganza! (they make me write out the whole thing each time) Kevin and Pete are joined by TWO SPECIAL GUESTS as Pete tests Kevin's knowledge out on ten movies they talked about over the last 99 episodes.  Come see how much YOU remember and how much Kevin remembers of...

Send us Fan Mail What happens when Draco Malfoy, The Winter Soldier, and Alice from Twilight team up to face down a paranormal threat with deadly intentions?? Spoiler alert: they all die. Some college kids summon a ghostly entity, it gets kill-happy, they try to stop it, and things don't go well. Pete may have lost what was left of his sanity on this one. Kevin continues to mock him.

Send us Fan Mail Ok so THIS is a first. Usually I get two sets of notes: a well put together selection of notes with beats, genre feels and a general breakdown from Pete, Aaaand an incoherent mess of jibberish scrawled on the back of a receipt from Total Wine written in crayon from Kevin.  This episode is completely backward! PETE's notes are just a lot of red marker scrawled over what look l...

Send us Fan Mail Hey everyone! did you listen to last weeks episode and go "man that was a good episode, i just wish the movie they talked about was dumber."  WELL. have we got a TREAT for YOU!

Send us Fan Mail Kevin has decided that him being coerced into listening to movies he doesn't like wasn't enough, he's now decided to make Pete watch movies that NO ONE likes.  In the first of our month long mistak-er plan of talking about the LOWEST rated horror movies on Rotten Tomatoes, Pete and Kevin struggle through the "horror" "movie" One Missed Call.  Thi...

Send us Fan Mail If you are ever being hunted by a serial killer, make sure to get in the path of one that has a bad memory. This late 90's sequel sees the return of J-Love and Freddie Prinze Jr. as the evil Fisherman continues his crusade against them. Except this time they go tropical!! (But really they don't, because it rains the whole time and they didn't even film in the Bahama...

Send us Fan Mail You'd think that the homicidal maniac would learn after being bested by two hot teens on a boat. But no, the killer fisherman with a great memory is back for round two, and this time they are going tropical!! Pete and Kev may have found the proto-early 2000's slasher in this late 90's sequel. We've got tropey characters, constant bickering, idiotic decisions, a...

Send us Fan Mail For this episode we're going to use the marketing that the actual movie did:  Paris Hilton is in this! She Dies!  ... That's it. That's the marketing. That's all you get.

Send us Fan Mail For a special 4th of July Pete let Kevin talk about family movies! ...  In which he discussed the most horrific moments on family movies that scarred children everywhere for the rest of their live.  Kevin was not amused.  Come see the boys talk about horrific events in classic family movies like The wizard of OZ series, The Polar express and of course- Willy Wonka's Chocolate...

Send us Fan Mail In space no one can hear you scream... because apparently they're all too busy screaming to listen. So basically no one can hear you scream because they're all self centered narcissists. So in space... its just like earth?  Come listen to people scream - or don't listen if that's your thing - as Pete and Kevin discuss the 1991 Sci-fi  Horror movie Event Horizon...

Send us Fan Mail You've seen a killer doll possessed by a voodoo practicing serial killer. But have you seen killer dolls brought to life by Egyptian magic, fighting nazis, duping psychics, and living a life of luxury at a seaside luxury hotel!? If not, then get ready for the 1989 straight-to-video classic, Puppet Master! A film that explores immortality, casual psychic powers that many peopl...

Send us Fan Mail Fearless Films presents... PSYCHO! Arguably the film that kicked off the modern horror era, Psycho is the closest Hitchcock gets to a slasher. While Pete praises its artistic choices and historical relevance, Kevin can't stop laughing at the thought of a murderous old lady and how scandalous it was that a woman and a divorced man were sleeping together. Also, we have a new co...

Send us Fan Mail An insect had a dream that he was a man, and it was beautiful. But now the dream is over. Kevin had a dream that he didn't have to hear about a gross, body-horror film. But that dream is now a nightmare. Pete had a dream that he was late for class, even though he hasn't been in school for over a decade.

Send us Fan Mail What happens when a film is marketed as a sexy, slasher, slice-em-up, but its actually a tale of growing up and the bonds of female friendship? You get Jennifer's Body!

Send us Fan Mail Once again Pete has given me a decent breakdown of the movie- Evil dead the remake- so I can write this blurb:  "It's a well done remake of the classic Bruce Campbell Evil Dead that takes things a little more seriously while still staying true to the original" THESE are Kevin's notes: "Tongue cutty! The trees are alive and NOT with the sound of music! TRIG...

Send us Fan Mail Today we learn about Science!  The science of gas tanks exploding The science of the undead The science of tombstones The science of powerwalking away from your problems.  Science! or lack thereof, abounds in this episode of Fealrless films as Pete and Kevin talk about Night of the Living Dead Remake!

Send us Fan Mail Welcome to May! The beautiful month of rebirth, regrow and rehashed old worndown film plots!  Kevin and Pete take us through a deja-vu inducing breakdown of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.  But wait! you cry, monocle falling into your cup of bergamot tea,  I say you've done this one before!  Yes oddly refined listener of ours, we HAVE talked about this exact movie before, but th...

Send us Fan Mail Do you have ANY idea what I have to work with on these descriptions??! Pete's notes- A short indie horror film where there's a monster lurking in the darkness, called Lights out.  Ok, fine, great. little sparse but i can do this.  Kevin's notes- DANANANANA CAT VAMPIRE! ... I don't even think that's enough nana's for the batman theme. I hate this place...

Send us Fan Mail Hello Clarice ... IS APPARENTLY NOT WHAT HE SAYS AT ALL.  Pete takes Kevin through the masterly well crafted crime thriller (not horror because it won awards) movie Silence of the Lambs. Learn everything about why Anthony Hopkins is not invited to Kevin's birthday party.  There's apparently stuff about the movie in there too.

Send us Fan Mail So I got the notes for this episode from Kevin and it just reads as follows: "PResideennt??? ALIEANS?!? Bill pullmans is a cat boy? Buffy hates ghosts........ I need to rewatch Memento. " So yeah. That's what's in this episode. I guess? Enjoy trying to unraveling Kevin and Pete's perplexed ramblings about The Grudge!

Send us Fan Mail Pete digs up another terrible holiday themed horror movie and Kevin can't handle it. This time Pete had gone too far. The tables are turned in this episode!  What does that mean? I don't know! They don't tell me things! What do table's turning even have to do with anything? Wouldn't the table just still be the same? If it's a round or square table can...

Send us Fan Mail Join us everyone as today Pete takes Kevin through one of the most uncomfortable moments in American history... OR DOES HE? IT's weird, and racist, and it definitely makes the two boys uncomfortable, its... Antebellum!

Send us Fan Mail Join us as the boys break down the 2006 apocalyptical horror movie The Omen. Pete comes to terms with his fear and suspicion of all humans under the age of 10 and Kevin learns what the word "plagiarism" means.  Also this isn't ghostbusters? They told me to put that in. I don't know why.

Send us Fan Mail Hey Everyone and welcome to Fearless films! Today's episode is... *checks calendar*  Aaaah dammit.  Happy St Patrick's day. I'm sorry.

Send us Fan Mail Come join Pete and Kevin as Pete raises Kevin's hope up to super high levels by brings us a Guillermo del Toro movie and then completely throwing them to the ground by explaining a convoluted weird movie about bugs in a sewer.  Mimic! kinda, they don't actually look like people yaaaaay.
