During Bible Study

Send us Fan Mail We have many different examples of Sin in our lives. This lesson we look at the way Sin is hidden and yet it's working in the darkness. Hidden from view it is expanding and creeping along to get wider or stronger. My example comes from my garden and how if we leave our garden without care it will get overrun. Our lives need to have some weeding out of things that shouldn&apos...

Send us Fan Mail As many know we all don't speak the same language. That wasn't always so. This lesson shows that people got to high on themselves and started to build to the Heavens. GOD came down to see all they were doing and it wasn't good. So GOD cursed them with different languages and looks. This tells where most of the people ended up going and who was where. We believe that...

He was chosen by the church as one of the seven who were responsible for caring for the money and care of the poor. That his service would progress into Stephen preaching the gospel. Send us Fan Mail We all have heard the story of the fall in the garden of Eden. In this lesson we will look at this part of the story to see if we can discover more. We will tell you about how and why this happened. Just know that the way Eve was approached and tempted is a warning to us. We can't think that we are above the same evil schemes. Learn the enemy and see the way he attacks. That...

Send us Fan Mail 8 days after Jesus was born his parents took him to the temple for his dedication ceremony. Jesus would be dedicated to GOD and be circumcised as was the Law of Moses. To seal a promise to Moses, GOD required all be circumcised as a blood sacrifice. When the new parents got to the temple, we find that GOD had sent a priest to work today so that he could meet JESUS. GOD had promise...

Send us Fan Mail In this lesson we talk about the 3rd seed of the Sowers parable. This one was sown in the thorns and was choked out. We know that the ground of life has to be tilled and the roots exposed before we can plant a seed. If we just try planting without working the ground first then we will have thorns come up. Thorns grow slow and will overtake things if not plucked up. We have to work...

Send us Fan Mail This lesson we will talk about the time that Isaac went out into his lands and checked on the wells that was dug by his father Abraham. Send us Fan Mail This lesson I get to talk about one of my favorite things to do which is hiking. You can never change my mind that we need time with Nature. To pull up to a mountain side and start into a climb or an adventure into nature. Me and my wife, Alice would go most weekends and spend time together. We didn't set records of how far or how high we went. It was spending time together....

Send us Fan Mail God uses us differently. Todays lesson we look at my path in the military compared to my best friends path. We both started out the same but chose to go down different paths in that career. We know that each Christian is different and GOD is leading them down different paths. But all paths on this straight and narrow road led to Heaven. We all have hills and valley's but thru...

Send us Fan Mail Welcome back. This lesson we will talk about how GOD will push you into doing something for him. Guiding you with things to move you to where he can use you. Sometimes change isn't bad. Just uncomfortable. Let's look at some pushing that had to be done. I am glad that GOD doesn't let us sit idle and grow stale.  A moving stream will be able to move things, a stagnat...

Send us Fan Mail Praise GOD. This lesson talks about how Jesus had to work miracles and then leave. He could never stay in one place because his time to die hadn't came. We remember reading many times after Jesus did a miracle he would say tell no one. This was because once the rulers found out about a miracle they would come to kill him. The timing had to be just right. It was on Jesus time...

Send us Fan Mail With the news of our 31-year-old Nephew passing away yesterday, GOD put this on my heart to share. How many wake-up calls will get in this life? We get chances and opportunities to use these wake-up calls to change our lives. Who or what do you turn to when you get that call? Many turn to drugs and/or alcohol to hide in. I am so thankful that I can turn to JESUS. We pray that some...

Send us Fan Mail We learn in this session that Jesus is life. We know from this lesson that Jesus can do all things. In this story Jesus was told that a friend was in need of him to come, but Jesus tarried and the person died. The family of the dead man was not happy that Jesus didn't come sooner. But Jesus shows them that he has power over death. He raised Lazarus to show everyone that death...

Send us Fan Mail We all have been mad at our situation. Many have wanted to get some cash together and run away. Go to where no one knows us, and we can live life without someone we know judging us. This story is about the son that demanded his inheritance and lost it all. At the lowest point he remembered that at his father's house the servants had plenty. He came to his senses and returned...

Send us Fan Mail We should be thankful that GOD looks at us differently. We can look at others as well as ourselves and see faults. We look at others with thoughts of how they used to be and how they could be. GOD knows all that but looks at how we should be. GOD looks at us from his love. A love that allowed Jesus to come and die for our sins.  Jesus gave his all so that we might be forgiven and...

Send us Fan Mail GOD Bless you and I really struggled with this lesson. It is a touchy subject, yet it is something that happens way too often.   This is how the bible tells us how to deal with it. If you have ever had to face this problem, then I am sorry.  But we all know that the devil is always trying to destroy the family, it started back at the Garden of Eden, and he hasn't stopped yet....

Send us Fan Mail Being Anchored in GOD is wonderful. But today we wanted to talk about how we are sometimes anchored in still waters. We might have placed the anchor down during a storm of life but failed to pull it back up and head off in the direction that GOD sent us. We want to encourage you to pull up whatever is keeping you in that place. We should never be standing still in service to GOD....

Send us Fan Mail The lesson we have today is about trusting GOD and how serving others out of kindness and love will always come back as a greater blessing. We are looking at the story of Elisha and the widow woman. The story is about how GOD was using Elisha to tell the Chosen People to turn back to GOD or it wouldn't rain. GOD stopped the rain and the land dried up. But GOD provided for Eli...

Use this prayer to take back the things you care...
