Dunks After Dusk

Mitch and Pat are back to recap the Timberwolves season-series clinching victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. All-NBA calibur Anthony Edwards, a huge bounce back game for Mike Conley, some of the best NAW and Order of the season, and Jordan McLaughlin leading the team in plus/minus. 45-21. Don't count us out of the 1-seed just yet.

Mitch and Pat are back to fawn over Anthony Edwards' clutch time masterclass. On a day where all kinds of questions reigned about the Minnesota Timberwolves and their ability to hold onto the number one seed - for one night, Anthony Edwards reminded the rest of the league of what is in store for them come April. Have we mentioned that he HIT HIS HEAD ON THE RIM?!

Mitch and Pat are back to bring you two games for the price of one. Mitch urges everyone to take a deep breath, Pat nearly falls asleep watching the Blazer game, and both of them feel a lot of empathy for Anthony Edwards by remembering what it's like to be a new father.

On the second night of a back-to-back, the Timberwolves looked like a team that was ready to succumb to a high-effort physical basketball squad. But the Memphis Grizzlies made one big mistake: They poked the bear. Anthony Edwards took the game over by shutting down 6-11 Jaren Jackson Jr., leaving Mitch absolutely twitterpated. We talk a lot about that. 42-17, tying the win total from last season....

Despite a sleep-walking 4th quarter, the Minnesota Timberwolves win against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid led the way for the offense, while the team defense continues to be elite. Back tomorrow night against Memphis!

After some technical difficulties earlier in the week, Mitch and Pat are back to recap the Timberwolves back-to-back against the Bucks and the Spurs. The Timberwolves didn't bring their "A" game either not, but you can rest assured, that Pat chose to honor them by offering the same. 40-17. Still first in the West!

The Timberwolves finish their five game road trip with a victory over the Blazers and head into the All-Star Break 39-16. While the thought of attempting to foul out early like De'Andre Ayton and head on vacation crosses Mitch and Pat's mind, they instead deliver yet another episode the redefines the entire notion of podcasting.

Mitch and Pat hope on the mics late at night once again to sing the praises of one Nickeil Alexander-Walker, including the unveiling of NAW's craft cocktail as designed by Mitch. The Timberwolves a chills-inducing 38-16 and have a 1.0 game lead in the West.

Mitch and Pat stay up a little extra late to bring a recap of a dominant victory on the road against a surging Clipper team. Every single player that stepped on the floor tonight played within themselves and their role, and the result was the best road performance of the year. 37-16 and once again, the best in the West.

Another game, another 4th quarter collapse for our favorite team. Mitch and Pat are back to break hand out some game awards, offer some silver linings, and then say that it is time to break up with a certain player come the trade deadline.

Mitch and Pat hand out the game awards for the cruise control victory over the Houston Rockets. Avatar state Ant, dominant Rudy, and the first ever Naz Reid award going to a surprise recipient. Finchy to the All-Star game!

Mitch shows an astronomical amount of dedication to the pod and its listeners by showing up on his birthday and giving, according to the Rolling Stone, a genre defying effort. The Wolves lost, but in the end, we're all winners cause the world got one more revolution with Mitch on it. Also, eagle-eared listeners will catch a very random Brianna appearance.

Mitch and Pat recap the easy victory over the Mavericks on Wednesday night. Before getting to the game, there is a quick rant about the 2-minute report from the league, and much more importantly, the debut of Cocktail Corner with Uncle Mitch!

Chest pounding after dusk is back! Mitch and Pat recap the best win of the season as the Timberwolves bounce back with a playoff-type effort to win on the road and take back the number one seed in the West. 33-14

2-2 in a week that featured the Hornets, Pistons, Nets and Spurs. The fourth quarter struggles for the team continues, and questions about rotations and Chris Finch are beginning to fester. Mitch and Pat advise not to break out the torch and pitchforks, but begin to offer some ideas for tweaks along with game awards.

Not all wins have to be pretty - Mitch and Pat are back to recap an ugly win full of turnovers and shot chucking. Thankfully, the defense was enough to pull this one out. 32-13, and at least for 24 hours, back in first place!

Karl-Anthony Towns sets a franchise record and scores 62 points! Oh, also, the Timberwolves lost because they were too busy trying to set records and didn't respect their opponent. 30-13 after finally dropping a game to one of the worst teams in the NBA.

Mitch and Pat are back with a bonus episode to talk about their five favorite moments from the season thus far, and handout some midseason awards.

A glass-half-full Mitch and a dejected Pat are back to recap the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Turnovers, late game offensive power outages and referee incompetency defined the game tonight. Yet despite this loss, your Minnesota Timberwolves are still first place in the West and with forty games to go, have some things to iron out if they want to make a deep playoff run.
