One of the primary differences between the Fruit of the Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit, is that the fruit is what we are to be as Christians- our character, while the gifts are things that we are to do. So who we are versus what we do. Both of those together= Life in the Spirit- its essentially how we are to live the Christian life.
