John 3:16 is the most well-known verse in all the Bible. Many Christians use it as a verse to present salvation to the unsaved. By doing this they prove their own ignorance of the Scriptures. John 3:16 is not a verse on how one gets saved today. It is a verse on how the Hebrew people were to be saved in their kingdom program.
