Community Christian Church LPK Podcast

What you seek first is what is actually first. And Jesus has something specific to say about what we’re seeking.

The rhythms that sustain a leader's soul - dependence, shared responsibility, and rest - are not retreats from leadership but the very practices that make deep, lasting, God-dependent leadership possible.

Soul-strengthened leaders learn to hold steady in impossible moments not because they have more answers, but because they have learned to trust a God who makes a way where there is no way.

This week, we bring our "FIRST" sermon series alongside a Worship Experience that we call "Hearts On Fire Sunday". As we move into this sacred space, we encourage you to start a Discipleship Conversation.

Soul-strengthened leaders learn to hold steady in impossible moments not because they have more answers, but because they have learned to trust a God who makes a way where there is no way.

Soul-strengthened leadership begins when we turn aside, encounter God’s presence, and discover that the calling rests on Him, not us.

The collapse of self-made leadership is not the end of God's story in a leader's life - it is often the beginning of it, the moment when God's deepest formation work begins.

Remembrance Psalms deepen our relationship with God by anchoring our present trust in His past faithfulness, shaping our identity and strengthening the faith of the next generation.

Penitential psalms deepen our relationship with God by leading us through honest confession into restoring grace, reminding us that repentance is not the end of intimacy with God, but the pathway back to it.

Imprecatory psalms deepen our relationship with God by teaching us to bring our anger over injustice into His presence, entrusting judgment to Him and anchoring our outrage in trust rather than rage.

Royal psalms deepen our relationship with God by forming our trust and allegiance in Him as King, teaching us where true authority, security, and hope are found in every season. SCRI

Thanksgiving psalms deepen our relationship with God by giving voice to gratitude, helping us remember how God has met us personally and respond with trust, praise, and growing love.

Lament psalms teach us that going deeper with God does not mean hiding our pain, but bringing it honestly into His presence, where faith and suffering can be held together in trust.

Praise Psalms deepen our relationship with God by shifting our focus from ourselves to who God is, teaching us to express our delight in Him and grow in love through wonder and awe.

The Church exists to continue God’s mission—sent into the world to work, witness, and worship—so that all nations might come to know and glorify the living God.

The mission of God becomes visible in Jesus—He is the good news, the King who brings God’s reign. To follow Him is to live under His rule and join His kingdom mission.

We were made to be worn by God—clothed in love, joy, peace, patience, justice, mercy, and humility—so that the world might see His beauty in our lives and be drawn to Him.

God’s people are redeemed people—called to be priestly and holy so that the nations might know Him.

In Abraham, God launched a mission to redeem the nations—and in Christ, we are heirs of that mission, sent into the world to be a blessing.

This week, we pause our "Find Your Place" sermon series to gather together for a Worship Experience. As we move into this space, we encourage you start a Discipleship Conversation.

From Genesis to Revelation, creation is not a backdrop—it’s part of the mission. We are stewards of what God made and what Christ came to redeem.

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reveals one unified story: the mission of God to redeem all creation. Our purpose is to join God in His mission.
