ccMixter (remix)

hello beauties! xx to one of my most favourite soundscape creators, 7OOP3D!!! Been practising their track called Cold Current as I feel that female vocals on this track would sound incredible as a juxtaposition to the bassier elements and I swear, it was sounding SUPER SUBLIME!!! :P :P however: I was meant to record vocals but as faith, fate and luck would have it; cough has somehow found me on my...

I got this lyric ready -- with its shoutout to the 30th anniversary of DJ Shadow's "Why Hip Hop Sucks in '96" -- hoping to get a matching-enough assignment. Well, if you want sources with the dense, layered texture of instrumental trip-hop, there probably isn't anyone better you could draw than BB. And *so* *many* stems! But then you run into a snag: you have to know what you're doing to really ge...

Remix of SO SHA for summer 2026 Mixtermorphosis Secret Mixter. While listening to SO SHA's samples, I kept coming back to phrases from GHOSTS. Then, background vocals, vocal chops, and instrumental parts came together organically from other SO SHA samples. Inspired by and contains sounds from "DIRGE2026." martinsea / Martin Cee assigned - Mixtermorphosis Secret Mixter

Very happy to have drawn MalreDezsik, I always enjoy his sounds/style. Also, a generous sharer of samples. For this mix I combined his beats, bass, keys, synth and brass blasts from only two sources (JezzyFlow and WestParty) and added a sax.

Assignment: ***Snowflake*** I love the theme of our current Secret Mixter event. If I Remember correctly, we were encouraged at the sign up to melt boundaries and transform our assignment's source material into something unexpected. The spirit of that idea has always been part of my approach when contributing to the Mixterverse. I suspect that "Mixtermorphosis" is a part of everyone's creative pro...

Three times is a charm! 2025 I had the pleasure to draw Rewob and created Into Paradise (Sand mix), 2023 the result was Ocean Dreams (Parallelized). But to be honest, I did look up this just now. So I started without any memories of the previous mixters in my mind and started listening. Lot of great remixes to work with, so I got stuck. Eventually I decided to be smart and go for the old uploads....
