Awakenings

"For this set I tried to show my full spectrum of what I consider a “peak time” set. High energy, but yet a build up to a big release. Pure dancefloor energy. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as I did recording it!" "This set is a glimpse into my world: energetic, edgy, and spiritually infused. I’m drawn to darker electronic sounds while being deeply inspired by music with meaning and emotion. By blending hypnotic energy with soulful influences, I create a sound that feels both raw and transcendent." - NIIOMI WWW.AWAKENINGS.COM ► FOLLOW US Instagram: instagram.com/awakenings Youtube: www.youtube.com/awakeni...

"Summer, for me, is a very special time musically and creatively. That's why I’m super stoked to play Awakenings for the first time. I wanted to get in the mood and mindset of a full midsummer night out, so I’m sharing this special mix with you that I feel condenses an impression of a summer evening of dancing into an hour and a half. In this mix there are many influences I grew up with as well as...

"For this recording, I took a trip down memory lane to my first Awakenings experience. It was my first time hearing techno on a big sound system. I was blown away & energised by the music as I had never heard anything like it. This was a pivotal moment in shaping my taste in electronic music. Combined with rhythms I grew up with, this set brings together a collection of tracks that captured the sa...

"This mix is a selection of my favorite tracks at the moment. I’ve taken the time to build things up, leading to an explosive and unexpected peak. The red thread throughout the mix is a nasty bassline, fast, pure grooves, and touches of acid here and there. In short, my signature sound!" "From an early age (‘99) he immersed himself in techno, drawing inspiration from artists like Dave Clarke, Marco Carola, Ben Sims, as well as labels such as Zenit, CLR, Primate etc. At the same time, he was influenced by harder sounds like Amok and Sven Wittekind and heavily influenced by the dj sets of DJ Rush. At a later age performing at Awakenings and Upclose marked a significant milestone. Bu...
