Today we have a tale from the American south. In this tale we see what happens when Brer fox extends an olive branch to Brer Rabbit. Has that fox changed his ways? Will that Rabbit except the truce? Only time will tell.

This story was retold by Mr. William Faulkner and  put to paper in the book Talk that Talk by Linda Gross and Marian E. Barnes in 1989.
