Death Ship (1980) 10.07.2026

We stay in the ocean this week with a lesser known early 80s horror, Death Ship starring George Kennedy at the beginning of the horror movie stage of his career. The movie was directed by a guy who really didn't want to be there and I don't blame him. Contains strong language. We'll be out of the water next week, I promise. I can't promise we'll be out of the 80s, however.

Jaws (1975) 03.07.2026

And, we are back with season six, a season of unique movies, no sequels, no slashers AND no Stephen King. Note that I didn't say no remakes, that's because it doesn't begin with "s" but also because there MAY be one this season. So not as unique as one would hope but all will be explained. If I remember. Contains strong language.

Psycho (1960) 15.05.2026

It's our season 5 finale and what better way to celebrate than to cover a movie I probably should have kept until episode 100? We'll be back in July with another movie that could have been kept until the 100th but is set around July 4th, hence its inclusion then. Season 6 will have no slashers and no sequels! See you then. Contains strong language.

Blade (1998) 08.05.2026

Yes, it's a Marvel comic book movie but luckily it's also a horror-action movie. Next week's season finale sees Jimmy tackle an absolute classic. Contains strong language.

Graduation Day (1981) 01.05.2026

Last week, we had Prom so now it's time for graduation! Jimmy never really graduated from high school, he just sort of left, it's slightly different in the UK. Anyway, Jimmy dislikes this movie and gives his reasons why, so enjoy! Next week, there's something about mothers ice skating uphill? Contains strong language.

Prom Night (1980) 24.04.2026

It is Prom season, so why not complete our journey into 1980 Jamie Lee Curtis movies with Prom Night! It also happens to be nearing graduation time and next week's movie will reflect that. Contains strong language.

Damien: Omen II 17.04.2026

This week, we cover the continuing adventures of young Damien who just so happens to be the son of the devil. Puberty is a beast, am I right? Next week, we celebrate Prom season, something our host never did in high school. Contains strong language.

Christine (1983) 10.04.2026

Hey, it's Carpenter time again and also our obligatory Stephen King episode! I wonder if I can go a season without covering either? Probably not although, I did not cover Carpenter in any season 1 episode. And this season, I've covered two, so they're even! Next week a sequel by neither Carpenter nor King. Contains strong language and adult themes, this movie is kind of misogynistic in...

Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000) 03.04.2026

It's sequel time again and I wish I could say it's the last one this season. At least it is the second movie in its franchise this time, rather than the third like the last few episodes. Hey, March it is the third month and we were trying to be cute and/or funny. This episode negates all that, though. Next week, watch out, that car is on fire! Contains strong language and adult themes.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3- Dream Warriors (1987) 27.03.2026

Our trilogy of Part 3's concludes with the return of Freddy, Nancy and Nancy's dad. Next week, we jump back into the world of Stephen King AND John Carpenter. . Contains strong language and themes of SA and suicide.

Scream 3 (2000) 20.03.2026

Since there is another Scream movie out now, Jimmy has decided to go against what he said previously and cover his least favourite movie of the entire franchise. Beware, he isn't gentle. Contains strong language and adult themes including SA.

Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982) 13.03.2026

It's Friday the 13th. Again. And what better way than to talk about the third movie in the franchise? There's another one in November, it's not my fault. Next week, we'll be covering another movie that is the third release in its franchise. A movie I said I wouldn't cover! Contains strong language and adult themes.

Scream 7 Spoiler Talk 09.03.2026

Jimmy is joined by his good friend Jen to discuss the latest Scream movie in a spoiler filled discussion. One likes it more than the other so there are mild disagreements and strong language. Terror in Ten will be back on Friday the 13th...

Night of the Living Dead (1968) 06.03.2026

Hey, it's our 50th episode! What better way to celebrate it that to cover a classic that is older than our host? Next week...it's a surprise... Contains strong language.

The Fog (1980) 27.02.2026

Jimmy returns back to his favourite horror director's oeuvre with The Fog. Not to be confused with The Mist by Stephen King or The Fog, a novel by James Herbert from 1975. I don't know what I'm saying, I am just padding this out. Next week is our 50th episode! So we're covering a classic. Contains strong language. Music by Dominique Garnier on pixabay.comClips from The Fog are the...

House on Haunted Hill (1999) 20.02.2026

We're back at the buttend of the 90s with this remake of a classic from the 50s.. Why didn't I cover the original, you may ask? Well, I only saw it for the first time a couple of months ago, so the remake it is! Next week, we return to the world of John Carpenter. Contains strong language. Music by Dominique Garnier on pixabay.comClips from House on Haunted Hill are the property of Warner...

Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) 13.02.2026

It's Friday the 13th. Again. So it's sequel time! Jimmy talks about a movie he prefers to the original and gives his reasons why. Since there is another Friday the 13th in March, we'll cover Part 3 then. In the meantime, next week, Jimmy jumps back into the 90s. Contains strong language. Music by Dominique Garnier on pixabay.com Clips of Friday the 13th Part 2 are the property of Paramount.

Event Horizon (1997) 06.02.2026

Aaaaand, we're back! Season 5 of Terror in Ten is here with the haunted house in space movie, Event Horizon. We'll be back on Friday the 13th with a Friday the 13th movie because we're original like that. Contains strong language. Music by Dominique Garnier on pixabay.com Clips of Event Horizon are the property of Paramount.

Terror Train (1980) 01.01.2026

Happy New Year!!! 2026 baby! Okay, enough of that, this week, the last episode of season 4, Jimmy talks about a movie set on New Years Eve, 1980's Terror Train. Directed by a man who didn't want to make a horror movie and starring an older actor who didn't want to star in anything too "adult", it's amazing this movie gets classed as a horror movie at all. Yet it is, it ev...

Maniac Cop 2 (1990) 29.12.2025

It's that weird week between Christmas and New Year and what better way to celebrate it than covering a movie set at Christmas but has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas? It's Maniac Cop 2 time! Contains strong language and adult themes. Written, presented and edited by Jimmy Brown. Theme- Creepy by Pecan Pie

The Vintage Movie Book Club- Home Alone 22.12.2025

We're back, after a month's hiatus, blame Jimmy. This month, as it is December, Jimmy and Jen discuss the novelisation of the latter's favourite Christmas movie, Home Alone. They discuss the differences, obviously as that's the point of the podcast but they also finally answer the age old question... with all the kids in the movie, just who are the parents to who? Contains strong l...

Christmas Evil (1980) 19.12.2025

Hey, it's nearly Christmas so here's an early present! Not really, it's just a regular episode but it's set at Christmas, so my point stands. This week, Jimmy talks about one of two Killer Santa movies of 1980, four years before Silent Night Deadly Night shocked parents. Nobody really cared about this one (or To All A Goodnight the same year) and neither movie features the real San...

The Signalman (1976) 12.12.2025

Terror in Ten dives head first back into the world of TV horror this week with what is regarded as the best episode of the annual A Horror Story For Christmas series that aired throughout the 1970s. This one aired when your host was two months old! Next week is a Christmas horror movie from 1980 about a killer Santa... Written, presented and edited by Jimmy Brown. Theme- Creepy by Pecan Pie

Child's Play 3 (1991) 05.12.2025

Uh-oh, Chucky's back and he's duller than ever. Jimmy talks about the third in the franchise that so far peaked with the second entry. Contains strong language. Written, presented and edited by Jimmy Brown. Theme- Creepy by Pecan Pie Clips from Child's Play 3 property of Universal. Used for review purposes.

The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) 29.11.2025

When is a feminist movie not a feminist movie? When Roger Corman is the producer. He likes boobs. Anyway, this week, Jimmy talks about the Slumber Party Massacre, a movie that started as a satire, became a comedy with some killing. I really couldn't think of anything to say here, this was a last minute addition, cut me some slack. Contains strong language. Written, presented and edited by Jimm...
