Synchronize Swatches

On this off week, we've decided to offer up a little bonus episode. The first segment offers some corrections to our Ferris Bueller episode last week and the second part is sampling of our first podcast (that we did about a decade ago) called "The World its Ass"...  We'll return next week to kick off the Second Season of Parker Lewis Can't Lose.   Enjoy!

Prepare yourselves because today we have a very special episode. We subject ourselves to the Pilot episode of the short-lived Ferris Bueller TV series.    This ain’t your slightly older brother’s Ferris Bueller. On the first day of 11th grade, Ferris tries to woo recent transfer student Sloane Peterson, while dodging Principal Rooney.

It’s the last day of the school year. Not a problem for Parker Lewis, right? Wrong! For some reason Parker has lost his mojo. No matter what he does, Parker Lewis just can’t seem to win.

When Shelly is invited to a party, she cashes in an I.O.U. from Parker to enlist the best buds as her dating mentors. Saddened by his lack of an invitation to the same party, Kubiac sets to the task of finding a way in- by any means necessary.

The buds do the mall rat thing as they chase their respective dreams; Jerry hunts for a job to make him feel like a man, Mikey struggles to cope with the pressures of his new promotion, Kube ogles the latest in state of the art cookware, and Parker is chasing a girl… natch.

This time on the podcast, Chip and Chris discuss "King Kube" and they have a special guest pop-in! Who doesn't love the pop-in?! You'll never guess who it is! Ok, you'll probably guess who it is. Jerry Steiner is ready to take his place amongst the legends of Santo Domingo prankery. Unfortunately, (and inexplicably) his chosen target is the biggest, baddest, buttkickingest guy in school- Francis L...

A Eulogy for Ann.

Dr. Norman Pankow is back. This time he is begging Miss Musso for a job. He swears he’s a changed man, but when the buds catch wind of Pankow’s true intentions, they hatch a plan to beat the Dr. at his own game.

Here's a deleted scene from last week's podcast episode we did with Troy Slaten and it's chock full of geekery!

Jerry Steiner…is a man in love. After gathering the courage to ask his crush out, and scoring his first date, Jerry is desperate to have Parker and Mikey there to guide him through. SPECIAL GUEST ALERT: Troy Slaten is back with us for this one!

When Mikey Randall starts riding with a new biker gang, he finds himself on the wrong side of the law. A misplaced code of honor has him obstructing justice and he faces jail time. Mikey is on a head-on collision with juvenile detention and it’s up to Parker to help him change his course.

DUDE! Chip and Chris realize they got it backwards... Turns out Meatloaf is the poor man's BJ Barie! We talked with the actor behind BADGE.

What happens when the insatiable eating machine, Larry Kubiac, becomes a millionaire and suddenly has access to anything and everything his heart (and stomach) desire?

A forged love letter sparks an unlikely romance between Miss Musso and Dr. Pankow and everything's coming up roses for Parker and the buds… at first. When Parker finds out Pankow has an ulterior motive for his wooing of Grace, he must find a way to break the news to her… without breaking her heart.

Parker Lewis is a man in love. In Haley Madison, he’s met a girl who challenges him, seduces him…and overwhelms him. As his new relationship consumes him, Mikey and Jerry are left to fend for themselves.

Jerry’s duties as a best bud are suffering due to his latest obsession: Video Games. When he drops the ball on tutoring Kubiac, Parker decides it’s time to have an intervention. Meanwhile, a visit from her mother causes Miss Musso to lose her administrative mojo.

Part 2 of our convo with Abraham Benrubi.

Shelly Lewis…is a Vogue. Parker’s sister has leveled up her social status, joining an elite cadre of Flamingos who run the hallways of Santo Domingo through fear and manipulation- but at what cost? While the best buds struggle to help the school’s star wrestler, Larry Kubiak, make weight in time for the upcoming state championships, Parker must also race to save his sister’s soul.

The man, the myth... the KUBE! We got to chat with Abraham Benrubi.

A recent rash of shoplifting is hurting the bottom line at Mondo Video so Parker decides to hire behemoth Larry Kubiac as a security guard. As the crime drops to zero, it seems the plan was a success. However it’s soon clear that Kube’s zeal for the job is scaring away customers and hurting the business even more than the shoplifting. The Lewis family decides that Kubiac has got to go and since Pa...

We had the great pleasure to speak with Melanie Chartoff about her role as Miss Musso.

Miss Donnelly is the best. She’s patient. She’s protective. She’s poetic. All the kids love her. So when Parker plays one too many pranks on her and she decides to quit the profession, he’s got a real dilemma on his hands- not to mention a new wardrobe. Will he be able to convince Miss Donnelly to come back to teaching, and to use her powers of poetic persuasion to prevent two primal powerhouses f...

With the annual district-wide science fair approaching, Jerry’s Environmental Refuse Centrifuge prototype is showing promise. But when a bet between Ms. Musso and her nemesis Dr. Pankow of El Corrado High takes a strange turn, it shatters Jerry’s confidence and dredges up some painful memories. Will he rise to the occasion and snatch victory at the science fair or will he drown his sorrows in a bo...

The thrilling conclusion of our interview with Troy "Jerry Steiner" Slaten!

After incurring the wrath of Kubiak and suffering another locker stuffing, Parker, Mikey, and Jerry stumble across a hidden pirate radio station, KFLM. Modulating their voices, the boys bring back the anti-authoritarian spirit of the late 1960s as Dr. Retro, The Iceman, and The Freshman.
