Climbing the Castle

We travel back to Hawaii again this week to check in on Lilo & Stitch. While this movie is far from the worst we've seen, it still holds alot of issues and makes it tough to watch. While at the same time there are certain aspects that make it fun (Mainly Pleakly and Jumba)

This week we return to the jungle and take a deeper look at how Tarzan became who he is. Another sequel that takes place during the first movie. While the story itself may not be the greatest it's filled with fun characters and some dramatic moments that help keep this movie entertaining. While it's certainly not on par with the original movies it's still an good movie and one of the b...

We're back with another discussion this week and we're talking about movies that deserve a ride at Disney parks that don't have one. For so long now there's so many great movies that have been neglected at the theme parks and we're here to pitch ideas in the hopes that these movies can finally get the recognition they deserve.

This week we return to China to follow up on the story of Mulan. While it's very obvious this sequel is not the same caliber of it's predecessor, I think it makes it self very obvious that it's not trying to be, and that level of self-awareness seems to be what we've been missing from some of these other sequels. While this is far from a great movie it's still fun and keeps you...

We're back with another Tinker Bell movie again and we've reached another season.. Winter. After the last Tinker Bell movie we were both kind of skeptical of where this franchise was heading and if it had finally run it's course, but after watching this we can gladly say that is not the case. This movie was a breathe of fresh air in this season and reinvigorated the Tinker Bell series...

We're back to the land of the Fairies in another installment in the Tinker Bell series. While this film is the weakest of these movies so far, it still is not actually bad. With some major character improvements and some good visuals we're still able to enjoy what would be an otherwise mediocre movie. But for a series we had no hopes for we are still pleasantly surprised.

Sorry it's been so long. It's been a busy couple of weeks. We're finally back with a new episode and it's for a brand new movie!! We're going back to season 2 with this one for Hoppers. Hoppers was a fresh new take for Pixar, a lot of different things than what we're used to seeing from them and it was quite refreshing.

We have another bonus episode for you guys this week. This one was one of our favorites but i've been sitting on it for a while now. Schedules have been tight lately and we're still trying to record Hoppers which I want to bump to the front of the line so I decided to release this instead of breaking up the two Tinkerbell episodes we have.

This week Charlie and I are taking a dive into the world of shorts. Disney got its start with short-form animation and it's time we went back and looked at the roots of this company. This week we watched 3 of some of the most iconic Disney shorts, Including the debut of Mickey himself in Steamboat Willy.

We're back with another random movie we've never heard of before. And much like most of the other movies in that category it shocked us with how good it is. Now while this movie isn't going to win any awards its highly entertaining. It brings back that old school Disney feel which was refreshing to see again.

We're back with one for the ages here. The original Atlantis shocked us with how good it was coming from something we never really hear about too much. Now the same thing has happened with the sequel, except this time it shocked us with how bad it is. This was a really tough watch and quite honestly kinda what we we thought we'd be seeing more of this season. Thankfully the rest of the sea...

It's been quite a while since we've covered something from Season 1 , but we're finally back. And keeping on brand with Season 4 it is a sequel. However this had a theatrical run instead a home release. It's amazing how much better these sequels can be when they put actual effort into them instead of just trying to crank them out. Zootopia 2 manages to keep the same type of fun of...

That's right, you asked for it and we're back with another quiz. We've been trying to record our episode for Zootopia 2 for a while now but scheduling has just not been working out for us lately and I wanted to get another episode out since i'm behind on that as well so we figured we'd record a quick one that I can throw together real fast and get out for ya'll. We had alot...

After hearing this has the lowest rating of all Disney movies we were already on edge especially coming out of last weeks movie, however we were pleasantly surprised to find out that was far from the case and it could even be argued this movie might actually be good. The Jungle Book 2 is nothing groundbreaking however in this case the less is more approach may have finally actually worked out.

Sorry for the delay, we had some technical difficulties with this one, but we're finally back. This week we're watching what's regarded to by most fans as the worst of the sequels. While that did necessarily come true for the moment it's not as horrible as it's made out to be. Yes it is a bad movie but I think think the major underlying issue is this is how they chose to try an...

After a longer than anticipated break we are finally back!! And we're picking right back up to more DisneyToon Studios movies. This week we have Piglet's Big Movie. Quite honestly this is the worst of the WTP movies we've seen so far. The ongoing tradition of everyone being a villain continues and even doubles down here. Of course leading to another chaotic episode from us.

What better way to close out the year than with a little bit of chaos, because what's a Winnie the Pooh episode without chaos. This series has easily become one of my favorites for us to talk about because you never know what's gonna happen and this episode is no different. With all of the same loveable antics we've come to know it's no surprise this movie is just as fun.

We're back with another holiday hit for you, This time in my personal opinion (Charlie refuses to agree or disagree) the greatest Christmas movie of all time The Muppets Christmas Carol. It's a story we all know and love, but replaced with Muppets and's everything you'd expect and more. With a perfect blend of silliness and seriousness they're able to make such a refreshing tak...

Welcome back to the start of our annual holiday season episodes. I apologize for running a bit late. You should expect nothing less from me at this point. We're opening with a sequel of a movie we covered last year. Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas. Another compilation of shorts following Mickey and the gang. While not the greatest of stories this is still a fun little piece that works grea...

We're finally back with a new original full length story. Cinderella III: A Twist in Time is regarded as one of the best straight to home video sequels released by Disney. And at the start of this episode Charlie and I were hesitant to agree, However after discussing for a bit we can definitely see the appeal.

We're back with another compilation sequel for a yet another tv series that was not picked up. DisneyToons is getting really creative with these ideas. This time it's Cinderella II. This is one that is not good, but also not bad either. It could have been alot worse.

We're back with another discussion episode. This week we are talking about some of the Disney ad campaigns and some of the Disney products we remember either having or seeing growing up and currently.

We're back with another Tinker Bell movie this week, and yet again we are pleasantly surprised with how good it actually is. Another rare instance where a sequel holds up and is slightly better than the original. Obviously no episode is complete without our dose of tangents and debates and there's plenty in this one.

We've finally gotten to one of the episodes we were looking forward to the least. And we have to say... Tinker Bell completely blew our expectations out of the water. Now I am in no means saying this is a masterpiece of a movie, but after hearing what this movie went through in the process of being made, it's a miracle we got something half as good as what this actually was.

It's been quite a while but we're finally back with a brand new Pixar movie. This week Charlie and I explore outer space, the Communinverse, and more in Elio. It's hard to explain our feelings for this movie. For what seems like a very well put together movie, it just doesn't seem to live up to it's full potential somehow. There's alot of great things about this movie but s...
