All my own AI assisted tracks, are free to download. I do not monetise any of these tracks; I do however claim copyright in all but a few of the lyrics and the music in many of the lyricsI have been writing songs "on and off" since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I write purely for the pleasure it gives me. I have always been pleased with my songs which have been mainly from genres such as folk/blues, rock and roll and general pop (in the style of the sixties). My musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Soundcloud, prior to two years ago, are of me singing and accompany...

All of your furry old friends 10.07.2026 3:33
The second of the available bedtime songs, I wrote for my son. Again I had issues and ultimately had to reduce the tempo by 0.75, Suno would not slow the tempo down no matter what BMP I specified. But I was finally happy to call it a day.
If All My Friends Could Talk -6b (0.75x) (0.94x) 09.07.2026 3:02
The hardest I have ever worked to get even close to where I wanted to be. As a new dad, as my lad grew, I always used to sing / read him to sleep. He had a large collection of soft toys which resided on his bed. Of course this gave me lots of scope to make up stories and songs on the fly. This is one of the few that were ever noted / recorded. When I attempted to give it the Suno treatment, I have...
I Made A Few Mistakes (remix 2026) 07.07.2026 5:14
And yet another cover/remix. Well almost, the earlier version of this on Sound Cloud vis Suno, was a plain, vanilla cover of a clip of me and a strummed uke, using v3.5 if I remember correctly. And yes I liked the song, being biased, but it sounded like a dirge. I simply had to create this version, using the prompting skills I have aquired after 2 years on Suno - plus a little knowledge of what ca...
Bittersweet Memories (cover/remastered) 06.07.2026 4:07
Another cover. Why? Because I can! And songs I love deserve my best shot, this was originally covered in v4 (on Sound Cloud) . But I have been learning for two years AND now have a voice clone. Although not sure this is a very good example but then I am not a perfectionist... Hope you like this version as much as I do.
Betrayed 05.07.2026 3:59
Once in a while, something seems to work out right and for me personally this song just hit the spot. Not the title I started writing with but I changed it once I had finished, by shrinking down to just one word. I do hope that you like this track (I have several alternatives all of which I love) one of a number of versions which I really had difficulty deselecting. I may well post one of these al...
You've Got The Devil In Your Eyes (Remixed) 03.07.2026 4:54
Not sure why, but browsing thru some recent uploads I was moved by this song, which was produced in V5, prior to the VOICE feature was introduced, As I liked this I decided to remix (in v5.5) and use my voice clone. It also neatly compared the two versions of Suno. As far as I was concerned, for this song, the re was little difference. Hoope you like it!
Hold Me Tight 01.07.2026 4:11
I was really pleased with the last upload, "Wonderful Lives", and so I specifically set out to use the same vibes/instruments. I was not sure of the theme for the lyrics however, so ... I started by using a method I have worked with before. I took a few random phrases, not knowing where I was heading. After two verses, I stood back and thought right time for a chorus, and for the first time ever f...
Wonderful Lives 29.06.2026 3:36
I don't know why, but this idea came to me without warning. Not really me, I think. I wrote a verse and chorus and asked Suno for a test run. I loved the chorus and soon wrote another verse and a bridge. That's when the trouble started. Trying to get Suno to manage the vocalists (obviously a duet) to sing the right lines. I did all the right things , but eventually rewrote the lyrics so that they...
Day Dreaming 20.06.2026 2:27
I enjoyed the last upload, so decided to do a very similar thing with another (whimsical) poem. The Barbershop quartet, the tuba, a little whistling and some woodwind. I very nearly loaded two versions back-to-back, as they are very short. What made me almost do this; the second version of this iteration has a much faster tempo and I thought a repetition of the whole track sounded "cool". However...
Have You Ever Hugged A Tree 18.06.2026 1:37
Another early poem, set to music. Most of my poems were short and humorous, this is no exception. Set to a brass band sound with the tuba taking the bass line, Just a little fun, hope you like it?
You Hide But Nobody Seeks (v5.5) 16.06.2026 3:39
I have been deliberating about using this poem for a long time; it tells a story of a young man struck with a life changing illness, and describes one of the changes to his life. I have kept the music deliberately minimal as the words say everything. EDIT: I have just realised that I have in fact used this poem before about two months ago. It is a more upbeat and less sad version - I had totally f...
Guitar Dance 15.06.2026 3:06
Another experiment... Browsing Sound Cloud, as you do, and heard one or two tracks with some fantastic guitar work. Well, it set me thinking; could I cover one or more tracks from my old keyboard tapes/CD. Purely because guitar music is for me the ultimate experience - you may disagree, I won't mind. But I hope you can enjoy this guitar instrumental. I like it and may even see if the old keyboards...
I'm Addicted To You 14.06.2026 4:34
I was intending to carry on with my experimenting, this lyric when I started writing should have been one to add to A keyboard piece. However I found out that as I was writing I began to feel that it deserved to be a new song, so here is my latest NEW song. My lyrics sung by my cloned voice with music by Suno. The Circle80 Initiative in action. Hope you like it as much as I do!
You're Amazing (remix, doodle4 (Cover -1b)) - 2a 11.06.2026 3:19
This is another experiment , adding lyrics to an instrumental track. The instrumental track has a long history. Originally a tape recording of the author (myself) doodling on an electronic keyboard, the resulting melodies only exist on this tape recording, which was uploaded to Sound Cloud as one of a batch of a dozen of so, The collection was referred to as "The Coming Of The Keyboards". After I...
Old Friends and Memories (radio edit) 10.06.2026 5:56
Not sure why I ended up with this song... I had been exploring some metaphors, I might use for a song; but nothing really clicked. One of the lists I looked at was metaphors for friendship, I thought about this as a theme for a song, but again nothing really set the brain aglow. Then I decided and set to work asking myself some questions. OK, I have reached a certain age, and thought drifted to ol...
You make Me Wanna Dance 09.06.2026 4:18
Lyric below. Just loving these experiments adding vocals to covers of original tape recordings by my younger self, from the eighties. Still using what I have been calling "throwaway" lyrics, written in 30 mins or less from lists of various words and phrases I have collected in notebooks. Hear the instrumental used as the base this song, on the album "Coming Of The Keyboards" track "Doodle 2". For...
Feel Like Dancing (doodle5 + added vocal) 06.06.2026 2:54
More experimenting with v5.5. I have again added a lyric (a few minutes + a couple of edits) to an instrumental cover (Suno) of an original composition on some early keyboards. Again not sure what to expect produced the "throw away lyrics so as not to waste time/decent lyrics. Both trials have worked quite well, I might try this again when I have some spare time to try it with some decent lyrics.
All I Wanted 03.06.2026 5:01
I seem to be getting into a rut - or maybe I am finding my style, particularly with the new "my voice" feature. This is another song in which I have as usual, written the lyrics, and left Suno to complete the backing, with a little help from me. I am finding that is the way "The Circle80 Initiative works best". My Lyrics, my voice (with a little help from Suno) and most of the heavy lifting left t...
Sorry 01.06.2026 5:03
Possibly one of my favourite, self-written songs. Of course they all are at first but this seems special. Hope that you like it...
There's No One Just Like You (studio version) 30.05.2026 4:05
I explain about this version and the previous "Concert Version" if you listen to both, I would love to hear your thoughts. I think the "concert version" has a much better Feeling/vibes, except for the crowd noise/applause. But at any rate, I thank you for getting this far and hopefully listening to the track.
There's No One Just Like You (concert version) 30.05.2026 4:10
The first time I have prompted for "audience participation, live recording". In the past, I have had applause, etc, added to a track by Suno. It had always sounded like an audience clapping! This time crowd noises sound like "white noise" to me, however, I loved the effect of an entire audience joining in on the choruses and hooks . So after initial failures to improve the applause, I decided to u...
We need More Time 25.05.2026 5:05
I seem to have been gravitating toward classical music recently, and when thinking about this track I went for it again. In a big way.... Love the way it turned out, hope that you will be able to as well.
this is me, (string me up) 22.05.2026 3:32
I was completing the album in which I was bringing the set of songs I produced from my sessions with ACID FORGE, up to date in Suno 5.5. However rather than just remixing the instrumental version, I decided try to add a vocal element - not something I had done before. So I produced something off the top of my head, something I thought would work with this instrumental; in this case very short line...
I'd rather not have known 20.05.2026 4:32
I still seem to be involved with emotions, I did not mean to write this but lacking inspiration, I used what I call the "David Bowie" method. Also known as the "Cut-Up" method. When I need extra help with starting to write a lyric I have used this a number of times in the past few decades - not often - but it can be useful to write something different. Basically, it depends on discovering potentia...
For Ellen (remix) 18.05.2026 4:43
A remix of a poem, reflecting on the passing of a well loved grandmother.
