All my own AI assisted tracks, are free to download. I do not monetise any of these tracks; I do however claim copyright in all but a few of the lyrics and the music in many of the lyricsI have been writing songs "on and off" since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I write purely for the pleasure it gives me. I have always been pleased with my songs which have been mainly from genres such as folk/blues, rock and roll and general pop (in the style of the sixties). My musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Soundcloud, prior to two years ago, are of me singing and accompany...

That Look In Your Eyes 17.08.2026 5:23
One of those songs you start writing with no idea where you are going - just a first line, which in this case becomes a chorus. And then it simply seems to write itself. Yes I did a lot of editing (and made use of a rhyming dictionary (Rhymezone) but it flowed from the pen like magic - yes I still write with a pen/pencil/etc and paper. Always carry a notebook with me for when I have a spare moment...
Face The Music 16.08.2026 3:53
This track has a history. The original track is on Sound Cloud, on an Album, "This Is Me". Twelve tracks created by myself using software called Acid Forge, I borrowed my son's computer. I used sampled riffs from various instruments, placing them on a piano roll and the editing individual notes (pitch and length of individual notes mostly) to create an original piece of music. The one called, "Cla...
Clouds 15.08.2026 4:50
Have you ever been hit in the eye with an idea? Clouds was such to me, But I feel I may have used the metaphors, etc, too many times in this lyric. Looked into figures of speech using clouds... and just go carried away. Maybe a very different bridge with a rest from using this idea. Will be back in the near future if this works. Must admit I do like it just seems to be a little overdone - too long...
Before It's Just Too Late 10.08.2026 5:54
Idly humming a melody, I started putting words to it: I built a story from those first lines. It's how it happens with me. I never know where I am going as the song develops. It's the lyrics which matter to me. I kept the story simple and the backing sparse. Suno however added far more than I actually wanted. I added a harmonica in place of the sax in my last upload, just for a change but I think...
What are you trying to do (cover of original song) 08.08.2026 4:11
Another cover of one of my own songs originally put thru Suno when I first signed up. I very quickly used many of my songs to experiment with the possibilities without any real aim; I had a quite large back catalogue. But with v5.5, I am now trying to do my best for some of those early experimental trials. This particular song uses only the lyrics and I thought that a country genre would fit, howe...
Hard Times Happen 05.08.2026 3:46
This was one of my first songs given the Suno treatment two years ago, when I first signed up. Always one of my favourite songs for a number of reasons, but although I was "0ver the moon" with the result then, Listening to it yesterday I felt the production compared badly with more recent tracks. So here is an updated version for my listening pleasure, I do hope you like it. It was originally uplo...
I'll Be Back Someday Soon 01.08.2026 5:05
A couple's life is about to be turned upside down. Although no details are included in the lyrics, he is telling her that he needs to go away for a short time. Asking her to wait and believe it will turn out right. I have been neglecting new songs lately, trying to turn one or two songs into versions to play and sing myself. But I am excited about the new song, hope you like it....
Fragments of a dream (FF2) 29.07.2026 3:43
At first, with Suno, I was so taken with hearing my songs for the first time with a fully developed and produced format. I was soon adding my catalogue of nearly 300 (ish) songs to Sound Cloud with backings in various genres and styles and yes I was captivated. I took to writing more songs motivated by the sounds I heard when subjected to the "Suno treatment". I loved them all. But lately, I have...
Yesterday Changed my life (country mix) 26.07.2026 4:57
The original cut of a country styled version of "Yesterday changed my life" wondering whether I should have stayed with this version? Funny how thinking too hard can hide the musical "truth".
Yesterday changed my life (pop mix) 25.07.2026 5:01
A song which was intended to be a folk song. But some where along the way I changed several things, including the title, and found that I had written a lyric with few or no rhymes. Of course rhyming is not essential, but usual! Anyway, it ends up as a pop ballad - featuring ..... a trumpet.
Fragments of a dream 23.07.2026 4:59
This title has been in my head for some time, but I had a little while today in a dentists waiting room - so took out my trusty notebook and and pen and started making a few notes. In the end the song relies heavily on the chorus, with only two short verses. Suno, of course came up trumps for me again.
Blue Me (with added lyrics) 16.07.2026 3:52
For me this is the continuation of experimenting with adding lyrics to some of my old keyboard attempts. The lyric is just a space filler to see how "it" works. But I did quite like this one so have included here, I have used a persona/voice I called Billy Blue. Hope you like it. The Basic instrumental track is on Sound Cloud , called Blue Me.
We Owe It To Ourselves 13.07.2026 3:27
Well here we are again with a another new song, Seem to have been doing a lot of covers recently - but the I still have dozens created with v3.5. Every time I go back to listen to one of these, I start wondering if a version in 5.5 would be any better.... This time It is a duet, by the persona, "Just-In-Love". In doubt as to whether their love is strong enough to overcome problems. Hope you like i...
Patterns On My Mind 11.07.2026 5:36
This is an example of how I write most of my songs. A title, from a phrase I heard or saw somewhere was the start. From there , I start to sing to myself and develop the lyric line by line, maybe with a guitar or uke to develop the harmony and melodies. Very few are based on personal experience and I rarely know where I will end up. maybe not a classical approach, but it has always been my way. Th...
All of your furry old friends 10.07.2026 3:33
The second of the available bedtime songs, I wrote for my son. Again I had issues and ultimately had to reduce the tempo by 0.75, Suno would not slow the tempo down no matter what BMP I specified. But I was finally happy to call it a day.
If All My Friends Could Talk -6b (0.75x) (0.94x) 09.07.2026 3:02
The hardest I have ever worked to get even close to where I wanted to be. As a new dad, as my lad grew, I always used to sing / read him to sleep. He had a large collection of soft toys which resided on his bed. Of course this gave me lots of scope to make up stories and songs on the fly. This is one of the few that were ever noted / recorded. When I attempted to give it the Suno treatment, I have...
I Made A Few Mistakes (remix 2026) 07.07.2026 5:14
And yet another cover/remix. Well almost, the earlier version of this on Sound Cloud vis Suno, was a plain, vanilla cover of a clip of me and a strummed uke, using v3.5 if I remember correctly. And yes I liked the song, being biased, but it sounded like a dirge. I simply had to create this version, using the prompting skills I have aquired after 2 years on Suno - plus a little knowledge of what ca...
Bittersweet Memories (cover/remastered) 06.07.2026 4:07
Another cover. Why? Because I can! And songs I love deserve my best shot, this was originally covered in v4 (on Sound Cloud) . But I have been learning for two years AND now have a voice clone. Although not sure this is a very good example but then I am not a perfectionist... Hope you like this version as much as I do.
Betrayed 05.07.2026 3:59
Once in a while, something seems to work out right and for me personally this song just hit the spot. Not the title I started writing with but I changed it once I had finished, by shrinking down to just one word. I do hope that you like this track (I have several alternatives all of which I love) one of a number of versions which I really had difficulty deselecting. I may well post one of these al...
You've Got The Devil In Your Eyes (Remixed) 03.07.2026 4:54
Not sure why, but browsing thru some recent uploads I was moved by this song, which was produced in V5, prior to the VOICE feature was introduced, As I liked this I decided to remix (in v5.5) and use my voice clone. It also neatly compared the two versions of Suno. As far as I was concerned, for this song, the re was little difference. Hoope you like it!
Hold Me Tight 01.07.2026 4:11
I was really pleased with the last upload, "Wonderful Lives", and so I specifically set out to use the same vibes/instruments. I was not sure of the theme for the lyrics however, so ... I started by using a method I have worked with before. I took a few random phrases, not knowing where I was heading. After two verses, I stood back and thought right time for a chorus, and for the first time ever f...
Wonderful Lives 29.06.2026 3:36
I don't know why, but this idea came to me without warning. Not really me, I think. I wrote a verse and chorus and asked Suno for a test run. I loved the chorus and soon wrote another verse and a bridge. That's when the trouble started. Trying to get Suno to manage the vocalists (obviously a duet) to sing the right lines. I did all the right things , but eventually rewrote the lyrics so that they...
Day Dreaming 20.06.2026 2:27
I enjoyed the last upload, so decided to do a very similar thing with another (whimsical) poem. The Barbershop quartet, the tuba, a little whistling and some woodwind. I very nearly loaded two versions back-to-back, as they are very short. What made me almost do this; the second version of this iteration has a much faster tempo and I thought a repetition of the whole track sounded "cool". However...
Have You Ever Hugged A Tree 18.06.2026 1:37
Another early poem, set to music. Most of my poems were short and humorous, this is no exception. Set to a brass band sound with the tuba taking the bass line, Just a little fun, hope you like it?
You Hide But Nobody Seeks (v5.5) 16.06.2026 3:39
I have been deliberating about using this poem for a long time; it tells a story of a young man struck with a life changing illness, and describes one of the changes to his life. I have kept the music deliberately minimal as the words say everything. EDIT: I have just realised that I have in fact used this poem before about two months ago. It is a more upbeat and less sad version - I had totally f...
