Here's the short response to why I even did this in the first place... This movie was cool and all, but I gave this WAY more of a pass than I should've due to the fact that I waited so long for it. Multiple episodes I spent theorizing about what could and couldn't happen but when I finally got through it, I dug it but realized it had more problems than I addressed. And even though it took me a few...

So being as though it's Black History Month, Valentine's Day is right around the corner and love is in the air and all that good stuff, I felt this was much needed... Plus I've always wanted to cover this movie and the sequel. Without getting long winded here, let me say that this movie is one of the many prime examples of black excellence on screen. From the script to the scenes, everything flies...

So I finally caved in and gave this one a fair shot... Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love James Wan as a director, especially as a horror creative. But y'all know I just cannot get with the Insidious/Conjuring/Annabelle bullshit. It's just not my type of horror at all. But since I was told this isn't what I think it is, I ripped it off like a band-aid and sat my hype ass down for a watch. I wil...

The moment two black guys decide to place themselves in certain horror movie settings, y'all know it's going to go much differently than expected... And I had my unofficial co-host join me for this, because I know I'm not crazy when I shoot these ideas down or lack thereof. Enjoy, people.

Yooooooooo... PLEASE let this movie be as decent as it looks. Enjoy, people.

To know me is to know that I'm a really big fan of creature features/monster movies... Deep Rising, The Relic, Animal, Leviathan, you name it and I'm on it. Especially the ones that utilize practical effects over the CG shit. And being as though I feel there's a shortage when it comes to these types of movies in a modern sense, good ones anyway, I was pretty curious about this. It didn't make as m...

Yes, I know... It took me entirely too damn long to get this review off the ground, but I had to make sure I had all the points down that I wanted to cover. And after all of that, there's still so much I missed. But if you all are up for another long winded breakdown of a movie that's had my interest since before the trailers, that works as well. Because it was certainly a wild ride and brought th...

Y'all have to please forgive me if I seem a bit out of sorts and sound a bit groggy here, but I am clearly relating to our titular character here as far as sleep goes... It's been all over the place, but I just had to get back to you all with a reaction here. I went in blind, but I'm definitely interested. Plus I'm all for this unofficial apology from Oscar Issac for ruining the Apocalypse charact...

Here we have, what appears to be, a modern day period piece exploitation horror flick... If that even made any sense to any of you reading this right now. While I'm not the most familiar with director Ti West, I know he's been very loyal to the horror genre overall, and I can respect that in many ways. Especially since this here was compared to a film like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. That is exac...

I hadn't done one of these in a very long time, so I felt this would be pretty fun... Plus I get sick of all these so called "challenges" that are horror based and seem like such a rookie setup. It's insulting. While there's tons of horror movies I still haven't seen in my life, I'm sure I'm savvy enough to get more than a few of these right. Enjoy, y'all.

The original Don't Breathe is a sure modern classic for me... Fede Alverez put together such a TENSE horror thriller that makes you question who is actually in the wrong once shit starts to hit the fan. The movie honestly didn't need a sequel, but I actually was curious. I know the stakes are always raised when there's a child's life on the line in movies, but that's a double edged sword that can...

Normally I would be binging the series and maybe doing a recap to prepare for the new film this week but funny enough, Scream is the one series I've completely covered on this show... So it's safe to say that I'm MORE than ready for this new entry from Radio Silence. I want to keep guessing, and I want to keep being surprised throughout. My requests are pretty simple here. Enjoy, folks.

The rules are very simple here: If you want to be a decent horror franchise and you want me to stick around by your side, just try to keep your shit together... That's all. When you start to derail yourself sequel wise and just have no chance of ever possibly getting back to what invested me in the first place, it's pretty much a done deal. And keep in mind that I'm no uppity movie snob who expect...

I won't sit up here like I'm the most knowledgeable person when it comes to the works of Agatha Christie, but this is what that reminded me of... The fact that we can still get whodunit flicks in modern times is absolutely amazing to me, and it's a sign that this sub-genre in particular is still very much alive and well. But there's still no excuse I wasn't rushing to the theater or the closest tv...

As I said before, and very clearly at that, I am in no way excited for this here... I don't want to sound like a broken record explaining why, so I'll let the people interpret it for themselves. I'm all for Philly creatives making it happen, but this just isn't grabbing me towards it in any way. Enjoy, y'all.

***YET ANOTHER DISCLAIMER!!!*** So again, I had another mishap during this recording and with about 2/3 minutes left to go in the film, my audio cut off, people... My sincerest apologies, because I didn't even get a chance to give a description overall or a rating. But I'll say that I think this was a 5/10, and that's me being nice. This movie is truly one of thee most fucked up horror films I've...

Snake Eyes is pure bad ass, and that is ALL... But seriously, the G.I. Joe series has been a bit all over the place for two whole films, but I was hoping this would get shit back on track to where it should be. I actually love the first as a guilty pleasure and the second as a bad ass/less wacky follow up, but I knew this would be different. So let's see if the dice roll the right way for the orig...

I'm actually a fan of this series overall... The first one genuinely creeped me the hell out, the second wasn't as good but I still really enjoyed it, and the last entry was pretty lame altogether with the exception of the last segment. But being as though this series has hit for the most part, and me being a huge horror anthology fan, I had to finally give this new one a spin. I basically set mys...

I've talked about this movie before about several episodes ago and how it surprised me, but I still didn't expect it to have the affect on me the way it did... Had somebody ever told me I'd get teary eyed during a Ghostbusters flick, I would've ended that convo immediately. My, how the times they are a changing. This was a movie I owe an apology to. Enjoy, y'all.

I actually dug seeing a live action Venom on screen in SpiderMan 3, and that's something I forever stand on... But I figured Sony would do the character more justice with a solo spin than a crowbar into an already complex story. The first go round with the symbiote was pretty uneventful, but entertaining. Now with Andy Serkis in the director's chair and Carnage in the fold, there's no reason this...

Let's be clear... I've never been a big fan of the original series but this new trailer grabbed me, so consider me curious here. That's about it. This is one ambitious fucking movie here, for better or worse. Enjoy, y'all.

When it comes to guilty pleasure movie franchises, Resident Evil has always been one of my favorites... Sure, they stray FAR from the tone and overall layout of the original games, but they damn sure are entertaining to watch in a silly way. So when news broke of this reboot, I understood why it was happening and was very curious. The trailers didn't have me too sold on anything but the horror atm...

Times like this during the holiday season makes me realize just how much I've missed Jack Frost on screen... By that, I mean nothing but Michael Keaton's version. At least that one had something going for it at heart, and looked a hell of a lot better after his transformation. There's some cool B-movie ideas here, but they just should've been in a better movie. How that makes sense is a mystery to...

As much as I was ready to see this, I'm now always prepared for whatever craziness comes my way from these guys... A big part of me takes pride talking about fellow PA locals like S.J. Doss and Nick Peetros who are big fans of the genre and cinema overall, so it makes these episodes much sweeter. Since I went in completely blind here, that's all I'll say about that. Enjoy, people.

Bill Moseley is in this movie... So there's that. Enjoy, y'all.
