This one always gets me right in the feels because of how natural of a fit the cast feels, and how the vibe of the film is overall... There's nothing like a warm, feel good black cinema holiday outing with a cast this seasoned. It makes me want to get closer to family for the holidays, but then it reminds me that I may just be a lot closer to actually being Idris Elba's character than anything els...

With the exception of that atrocious 2019 remake from Blumhouse, poor old Billy has been all over the place... 1974, 2006, fan films, etc. But this was the one that always satisfied me to the fullest. It delivers just what I expect in a standard slasher: girls, gore, eye gouges, and good times to say the least. No, it's not a perfect flick but when things get rolling, shit hits the fan and doesn't...

I tried my best to not make this too repetitive as far as my previous IntoxiCommentary, but it's Halloween and I can never control my excitement for it... But here we are with some extra tidbits for what really is, until proven otherwise, Michael Myers' most brutal rampage on screen thus far. I won't say what I did or didn't like as far as the new moments or lack thereof, but I'll say there's an e...

Let's keep it a bean here... There isn't a single franchise out here, be it horror or otherwise, that is perfect. Each one of them has made some pretty silly or downright stupid decisions. But these on my list hit differently, especially when I'm attached to the characters that these franchises seem to just not genuinely care about. Maybe there's hope for a bounce back, maybe not. But safe to say...

This is exactly what I get for talking lots of shit beforehand... This right here. Enjoy, people.

If you know, you know... Don't judge me when it comes to this property. Because then I'll just challenge you to a one on one in any of the first three games. I love this stuff. That is all. Enjoy, people.

I remember way back when I got a look at that first Sonic trailer... That was one of the worst trailers I had seen that year, but I did appreciate the change of design on Sonic the creators did for the fans. After watching it, I noticed there was way more that I liked than I hated, so my rating was fair. Now, since I was pretty harsh on it and rightfully so as a fan, I'm going into this more open...

SPOILER ALERT!!!... I had to put that in all caps again for obvious reasons, because there's usually one person who doesn't heed the warning and looks for a reason to complain so you have been warned. As far as this episode goes, I'm sure y'all know how I love me some dry humor and wise cracks to inject into my episodes to keep everyone a bit interested. But there's another side of me that has thi...

Since I was a late bloomer to this series overall and got hooked right away, this has become must see tv for me... I'm glad this is still going strong, and I honestly hope to see several more seasons afterwards. But the main thing I'm looking forward to here is, of course, the return of Terry Silver. That's the icing on the cake for certain, so we'll see what old tricks him and Kreese can get into...

What I got here was a bit of the FX show Atlanta, a dash of Be Kind Rewind, and a bunch of other elements I was in no way prepared for... This is one of those films where you have to buckle up and be ready for anything, and even being ready didn't do me any justice as it went along. That's not in a bad way either, just in a very surreal and strange way to say the least. Enjoy, people.

This is another one that's long overdue, and deserves all the feedback it gets but I cannot pull that off presently... This will have to do for now. Enjoy, people.

Old Man Leatherface is actually a creepy concept that could work, so I hope they don't fumble this flick... I always want this series to keep surviving just like all my other favorites, but it's been a rocky road here. With how bad Texas Chainsaw 3D was direct sequel wise, this new director should know exactly what not to do for a follow up to the classic. Fingers crossed. Enjoy, y'all.

I meant to upload this yesterday, but here we are... Covering the first big screen go round for the best comic book character ever (sue me) on paper, and I should've done this ages ago. This is pretty self explanatory here. Enjoy, y'all.

End of the road here, and I honestly wish it wasn't because I enjoyed the hell out of this series... The selfish part of me wants this to continue on, but the realistic part says that this story has been told and it should be left just as it is. But all in all, these last two episode don't let up, the same way the rest of them don't and it only adds more tension and more darkness to the cloud over...

Before anyone freaks out, let me boldly say that I LOVE this movie... I didn't see it until I was about 11 or 12 years old but when I did, it stuck with me in all the best ways. There's blood, there's gore, there's actions, there's score (bars), a katana, a dirt bike, and demons nonetheless. But with all that being said, there's also a SHIT ton of plot holes here that I've let slide long enough. T...

I've been saying for the longest time that there's a huge shortage when it comes to vampire flicks that are actually great... The last one I could think of was 30 Days Of Night, and those are HUGE shoes to fill. But this one here has been slipping by me and it's mainly because there was really not much of a buzz that I remember. I'm not sure if it's because this is a remake or what, but I went int...

The tangle webs we weave, man... There just seems to be no end for this mess Kid and Carlton brought upon themselves and somehow, things keep getting progressively worse each time. Maybe there's a snowball's chance in hell they'll see a silver lining somewhere. Enjoy, folks.

Since I've binged this entire series and have recorded back to back episodes, I'll just be dropping these two in one bits for you all... The show was that damn good for me. Also my descriptions here will be very brief. Like right now. Enjoy, yall.

Well people, we've reached the end of our journey with The Lakeshore Strangler himself, his possessed counterparts and some new likeable characters (some who have had to make major turnarounds)... It's bitter/sweet, but it's been such a fun and wild ride that I've been enjoying. So I hope you all do as well. Enjoy, folks.

(A bit of a disclaimer here people: I know there's a few times I mention The Blind Side here in reference to Kevin Hart when in fact, the movie I meant was THE UPSIDE. So my apologies, y'all. And if y'all have been tuning in this long, then you know I fuck up on more than several occasions!) When it's both Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes AND taking place in Philly, count me in!... There's been tons o...

Never Hike Alone and Never Hike In The Snow are the best FT13th fan films out there as far as I'm concerned... So anytime a new one pops up, they automatically have to be on par with those or better, but there was something special that drew me to this one. And that was the return of Lar Lark Lincoln as Tina, the return of Terry Kiser as Dr. Crews, and the look they kept and captured of our favori...

What a way to come back after taking a few days off... Andy, Kyle, Tiffany, Nicca, and friends are still in the midst of what I truly believe is Chucky's most vicious and insane go round in the entire series. And the trio of kids involved make things even more interesting. I hope the series ends on a strong high note this week. Enjoy, folks.

Sorry for the delay with this one here, since it was recorded Wednesday at some point... The holidays have been a scramble, but hopefully this holds you all over until I get fully back into gear for some more episodes. Luckily this wasn't too heavy handed and I could just let loose to enjoy a spoof. Enjoy, people.

I'm not sure whether the cringing parts or my fatigue was the hardest part to get through during this... I was pushing my limits here, and pretty damn tired but I wanted to jump at the opportunity to see this again. This was one of the better rounded Saw flicks in a good while for me, and another one of those movies that made me do a turnaround before I watched it. So it's never a bad time to watc...

God bless HBO for coming to their senses and finally putting this in their arsenal the right way... This was really one of my favorite movies of the 90s, and the sequel is really just as entertaining. When it comes to resurrecting old properties from the small screen, I feel like this one doesn't get mentioned and it SHOULD. The casting, the directing, the humor and everything in between is a pure...
