Bel-Air Ep. 7 Commentary (First Time Watch) 11.03.2022 56:17
This show just continues to climb and completely surpass whatever expectations I came to have... And I LOVE it. Enjoy, y'all.
When Singers Got Scary (Happy International Women's Day) 09.03.2022 1:01:41
Before my old ass ended up taking it down for the night, I had to not only get this out the way but I had to show tons of love to the ladies at the same time... Of course I'm a horror movie buff, but I always find it interesting when female R&B singers make the switch over to the big or small screen. At times, it works amazingly and other times, not so much. But either way, there were females on s...
Nosferatu 1922 Commentary (First Time Watch/Remastered Version) 08.03.2022 1:41:41
Let's hop in the time machine and head back to a moment in history that not only was important to the horror genre, but a moment that was silent enough to leave a lot to our imagination... As much as I thought this would be a task to get through, a silent film from 1922 and all, this was actually a decent watch for me. And this film had recently celebrated it's 100th anniversaries, so it was only...
Atlanta Season 3 Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 04.03.2022 26:45
It's here, and I'm hype... Self explanatory. Enjoy, folks.
Amityville In Space Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 03.03.2022 21:11
You know what?... I'm not even mad right now. Because I knew better than to do this shit. But I felt like I needed another decent laugh after watching Bel-Air, yet in a guilty pleasure way. What I got here wasn't that. And this is now time I cannot get back in Life. And I feel I may be held accountable for this bullshit when Judgement Day comes. Enjoy, y'all.
Bel-Air Ep. 6 Commentary (First Time Watch) 03.03.2022 54:16
No long caption needed here... It gets BETTER. Enjoy, people.
Bullet Train Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 02.03.2022 23:11
Brad Pitt + Zazie Beetz + the same director of Hobbs & Shaw/Deadpool 2 = Me most DEFINITELY doing a trailer reaction for you folks out there... If there's an enclosed area that assassins are fighting each other on, AND it's in motion during, then I am here for all of it. And since there's not too many films out there like this that catch my eye, at least the cast alone is selling me. Enjoy, y'all.
Love Jones Commentary 28.02.2022 1:53:59
I had to cap off both Black History Month and Love Month properly here, so this was yet another suitable flick for the moment... I geek out a bit more than usual, because this is one of those movies that almost holds too much weight and is too damn relevant today. So many things on screen here translate to everyday Life, so I never get tired of this flick. This is one of those times I'll let Love...
Bel-Air Ep. 5 Commentary (First Time Watch) 28.02.2022 54:09
I asked for an episode that tugged at my heart strings like a lot of the old Fresh Prince episodes used to at times... The Tv Series Gods apparently heard me when I said that and delivered to me an emotionally different episode for the most part. The arcs they're giving these characters in this reboot are so well put together, and it's only getting me more and more attached to this series overall....
Morbius Final Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 28.02.2022 21:59
I mean, it's Jared Leto playing The Living Vampire... Need I say more? Enjoy, folks.
Bel-Air Ep. 4 Commentary (First Time Watch) 27.02.2022 50:49
The good times just keep rolling with this series apparently... The last time I ended up doing commentary for a tv series entirely, it was for both Chucky and True Story. The irony here is that the same shit I talked about the Chucky series is what I did here, and look at me now. Hooked. Enjoy, y'all.
Bel-Air Ep. 3 Commentary (First Time Watch) 25.02.2022 59:11
Yup... I'm officially invested in this series now, and I'm just as surprised as the people who heard how I completely bashed the mere idea of this to begin with. But we can't all be saints here, so cut me some slack. But don't cut Carlton any slack at all, because he's the most bitter prick I've seen on tv in a minute. Enjoy, folks.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre Fan Film Teaser Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 21.02.2022 27:04
All I'll say is if this ends up being as good as the You Can't Kill The BoogeyMan fan film, then Dark Crown Films better cast me in their next piece of work to get killed off by Jason or Freddy or somebody like that... They're about to be on a roll and if so, I have no issue peeking back into Texas after that last literal Massacre. It's the thrill for me. Enjoy, people.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 Commentary (First Time Watch) 18.02.2022 1:28:22
It came, people... And as far as the gore goes, I almost did the same. Sorry to be so graphic but when it comes to a TCM flick, isn't that what we expect? Enjoy, y'all.
Scream 2022 Commentary 18.02.2022 1:56:22
As promised, it's up and running since I was way too tired to upload this and post last night... But much needed because this movie surpassed my expectations and actually has gotten better since I've had another chance to view it. There's thrills, chills, emotion, humor, all the things that make for your typical and awesome Scream movie. Radio Silence did a damn good job here. Enjoy, people.
Bel-Air Ep. 2 Commentary (First Time Watch) 18.02.2022 53:31
Yup, they got me, people... Another one of those cases where I preach to the high heavens about how bad of an idea a sequel or reboot or requel will be, then I end up really digging it. I did enjoy that first episode, and enjoyed the fact that this show isn't trying to replicate the exact same shit beat for beat. This series seems to be trying to make it's very own generational mark in television,...
Bel-Air Ep. 1 Commentary (First Time Watch) 16.02.2022 1:15:33
There's really no need for a long caption here, because y'all already know I'm 200% against this here... Just tune in and see what I've got to say now that I'm done with this pilot episode. Enjoy, people.
Cock Block Moments In Horror Movie History (Happy Valentine's Day) 15.02.2022 1:07:10
Before we cap off this year's day of love, affection and all that other mushy stuff, I think it's time to discuss something that plagues a horror movie buff like me. And that is the fact that sex isn't safe on any level in these flicks. As tempting as it is for featured characters, we all know it's very costly majority of the time. Whether it's Michael with some awkward timing or Leprechaun exitin...
My Bloody Valentine 2009 Commentary (Happy Valentine's Day) 14.02.2022 1:48:16
Let's skip all the pleasantries here... I don't like this damn movie. So one would ask "Then why the commentary?" and one answer is that I'm a glutton for punishment. The other answer is that I like to keep a theme going when the time calls for it, and I know there's fan of this movie out there so I give the people what they want on the ears. But this really was a task to get through, more than ev...
Nope Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 13.02.2022 12:07
Jordan Peele has a habit of having his trailers keep a certain mystique to them until it's time to watch the films in their entirety... That's all good and well, but I still need to get a grasp on what is going on here exactly. There's a twist coming, and I know it. Enjoy, people.
You Can't Kill The BoogeyMan Commentary (First Time Watch) 13.02.2022 44:50
There's a whole ton of Halloween fan films out here that just try to capture "Michael Myers", but very few of them try to capture "The Shape"... That term always gives me 1978 feels entirely, and reminds me that Michael is the scariest slasher for a reason. So believe me when I say this fan film nails The BoogeyMan for me, and almost too spot on at times. Enjoy, people.
Malcolm & Marie Commentary 11.02.2022 1:53:57
If I'm not mistaken, this is only my second time watching this movie... And SHEESH. These two delivery some extraordinary performances. Two of the best I've seen on screen in such a long time. And with February being the month of Love, here's a hard look at what Love may not be exactly. But should this be considered Love to some, it's the epitome of toxic. Enjoy, y'all.
My Bloody Valentine 1981 Commentary (Happy 41st Anniversary) 11.02.2022 1:49:15
I am literally uploading this one at 4:15am, and the timing is actually perfect... Since I recorded this last night I saved it for the actual anniversary of it's release, rightfully so. I just really appreciate this as a stand out 80s slasher, and how authentic it looks and feels. From the town to the killer's costume to his weapon of choice, it's all memorable for me. Which is more than I can say...
Jurassic World: Dominion Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 10.02.2022 19:50
About damn time, because I've been patiently waiting to see what type of goodies the dinos bring for this last hurrah... Oh, and there's humans, too. As well as the OG characters returning, so I'm very excited to see that. Enjoy, people.
My Thoughts On The Upcoming Michael Jackson Biopic 09.02.2022 41:15
I think it's safe to say that there's a ton of red flags here... And rightfully so. That is all. Enjoy, people.
