For so many previous episodes, the Ottomans have been a lurking threat, a subject of many, many failed attempts at crusades, and a constant reminder that Christendom was completely incapable of getting their act together. So why didn't the Ottoman Sultan, Bayezid II, take advantage of Western European disunity and triumphantly conquer the Christian kingdoms?   I...

Alexander is more and more under Cesare's thumb.  Is his son making him do things that a pope should never even consider or is that Pope Julius stirring?  Whichever it is, Cesare's very expensive hobby is emptying the papal treasury. Last time we did Alexander he wasn't Tudorlicious.  Will that all change this time around?   Join our Patreon family for yet more episodes and to join our Discord - ...

In this episode, after many promises, we actually meet Savonarola.  Despite much provocation, Alexander's reaction to him is really quite surprising.   Join our Patreon family for yet more episodes and to join our Discord -  Tudoriferous | creating a Podcast discussing the great, good and mad Tudor Era | Patreon   Relevant Episode -  Cameo 67 - Johannes Burchard | Tudoriferous
