Trinity Ky Sermons
At Trinity GMC in Princeton, Ky we believe that church is so much more than listening to a sermon, it's about being a family and joining together in our walk with the Lord. That being said, if you missed a Sunday or would like to listen in, we invite you to join us as we seek to take next steps in our relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have found us online, you can join us on Sunday mornings in person at the Goodmans Funeral home Chapel in Princeton at 10:30 am.

5.10.26 An Inward, Real Holiness 10.05.2026 24:18
Today, Jesus teaches us to look for the right fruit, and good fruit comes from a good tree. He's teaching us that he doesn't just want us to try to do good works but wants to transform our inner being such that we have an inner goodness and holiness that comes from him. This is the goal in Jesus' teaching, not that we would just be saved from hell, but that we would be transformed...
5.3.26 The Narrow Way 03.05.2026 23:31
Jesus invites us to seek his Kingdom through the small gate and along the narrow way. Perhaps this means the way to and of the Kingdom is narrower than we think it is, and that it must be sought with intentionality. This narrow way of Jesus does give boundaries to our lives, but it also fills our lives with goodness and beauty.
4.26.26 Simple Requests 26.04.2026 20:56
Hear how Jesus invites us into simple requests as a relational pattern instead of condemning and manipulating.
4.19.26 Judging Others 19.04.2026 29:01
Today, we dive back into the Sermon on the Mount and reflect on Jesus' teaching on judging others. Part of why we shouldn't condemn others is simply that it doesn't work; it breaks relationships down and doesn't allow people to be open and honest about their struggles. Jesus gives us a vision of the church as a hospital for sinners, as we seek health and holiness, but aren&apo...

3.22.26 The Way of Humiliation 22.03.2026 31:00
From Palm Sunday at the crucifixion, the Jews turn on Jesus. From praising him as a coming king, to screaming, "Crucify Him!" How did that happen? And are we capable of doing that today? The answer lies in the Jews' expectations of Jesus, their own humiliation by the Romans and Pilate's horrible games. Are you willing to take up your cross and follow Jesus where you might n...
Women's History Highlight: Sarah Mallet 17.03.2026 8:16
As we continue sharing about different women in church history, we highlight Sarah Mallet. Sarah was one of the earliest women preachers in the Methodist movement. She was strongly approved of by John Wesley, who cared for her like a father. Listen in to hear more!
3.15.26 The Basin and The Towel 15.03.2026 32:57
In the Ancient world, humility was not seen as a moral good. In fact, the word 'humiliation' is really how they would have heard our word 'humility'. Yet, today we value humility and dislike a prideful, arrogant person. So, what happened? History points to one person: Jesus of Nazareth. Today, we dive into the story of Jesus embodying his teachings by washing his disciples&...

3.1.26 Turning Over Tables 01.03.2026 23:13
We currently live in an "Outrage Culture" where people are encouraged in multiple ways to be angry and upset about things. In the midst of this, many people misuse the story of Jesus turning over the tables and driving out folks with a whip in the temple. Yes, this is a critique of the temple and Jewish leaders of the day, but perhaps it is a misrepresentation of the text to suggest tha...
2.22.26 A Different Vision 22.02.2026 30:50
Today, we share reflections on Jesus' call to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow him. In a culture that embraces 'Consumer Christianity', we need a different and deeper vision of discipleship which leads to a richer joy in life, to the abundant life Jesus offers us.
2.15.26 Trusting and Seeking 15.02.2026 28:04
Today, Jesus reminds us that God cares for the birds and wildflowers, and that we are much more valuable to God than them. Thus... our lives should be marked by trust and calm, not anxiety and seeking control. Our God is a God who provides and has our best interest in heart, even when things do not go our way. We can learn to draw from life in his kingdom. Sorry we haven't posted in a wh...

12.21.25 People over Perfection 21.12.2025 15:06
As we prepare for time with family and celebrations, sometimes we get too caught up in getting everything 'right'! God invites us to value People over Perfection and wants us to accept his grace for ourselves, as well as offer grace and love to others. We are an imperfect church, gathered around God's table.

11.16.25 Love Your Enemies 16.11.2025 32:00
Today, we tackle one of Jesus' difficult teachings: loving our enemies. Yet Jesus seems to think this is not just for the 'mature', but for all who seek to follow him, as he suggests doing otherwise would make us just like the pagans and sinners. Jesus seeks to transform us so that we would naturally love even those who would hate and harm us.
