In today's edition of The Update Journal, Big City Greens is somehow the elder statesman now. It is now the longest continuously running animated series in Disney Television Animation history. This week, we're going to take A Closer Look at the New York City Subway. It has improved. But the subway is still the subway. And today is National Coffee Day: America's Most Socially Acceptable...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, the stars are maybe going to align. Tatum Paxley is actually going to be in a Money In The Bank qualifying match this Friday on SmackDown. For real this time. We had it rigorously checked. At the same time, my Tatum hoodie arrived in the mail. What the fuck did they do to Thomas The Tank Engine? We're talking about the new Thomas reboot arriving on...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, Oh no. These are dangerous. The Little Debbie and Compartés Gourmet Chocolate collaboration is here and it looks absolutely incredible. If I were the NXT General Manager during the height of The Culling in their prime with all five members? I'd be having a nervous breakdown every week. And in the Last Word this week, Summer is officially over. Fall...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, there's New Pringles Dippers. Watch out, nacho chips. Pringles Dippers are here- and they're coming for your snack shelf. In the debut edition of Women in WWE Who Could Absolutely Wreck My Shit, we're going to talk about Liv Morgan. Confidence, charisma and chaos. Why Liv Morgan continues to stand out and yes, we're talking about if I w...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, as we continue to wait for GTA 6, we continue to learn more about the game. The latest information? GTA 6 will apparently know when you leave your partner on read. It's the first full day of fall, which brings up a new battle: Hot coffee vs. iced coffee. And in Brandon's Take this week, The First Day of Fall Was Yesterday... But let's not r...

In today's edition of #TheUpdate Journal, we have a follow-up to Tatum Paxley's Money In The Bank qualifying match on SmackDown, and apparently I was a victim of fake news - for real this time. I knew I smelled bullshit with Charlotte Flair. I was wrong about why. With the midterms over a month away, we're going to take A Closer Look at them. Does anyone actually know what we're vo...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, Tatum Paxley is in a triple threat qualifying match on SmackDown Friday for Money in The Bank. I already know how it's going to end, and I'm mad about it. Apparently, today is National Guacamole Day. So let's settle the guac arguments. And in Brandon's Take this week, we'll talk about why the first week of school is always more chao...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica, September 1st marked the beginning of what can mathematically be considered the late 2020's. In the debut of our new weekly series, we're going to take A Closer Look at 9/11 25 Years Later: What does 9/11 mean to a generation that doesn't remember it? And on a lighter note, apple season has entered...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, The U.S. Open is over, which means that Queens can have it's neighborhood back. Dunkin's Halloween Menu is here. And it's completely lost it's fucking mind. And did anyone actually reset over the summer? We all said we would. But... did we? In the headlines on #TheUpdate this Monday, City health officials are taking new action in connec...

THE S40 BUS HAS BEEF WITH ME (AND SO DO I WITH IT). Most buses to the ferry are packed like a rush hour subway. But without fail, the ONE bus with one person on it whizzes right by me like I owe it money. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. LARRY FLYNT'S HUSTLER CLUB IN MIDTOWN IS STILL THERE In a city where everything comes and goes, the Hustler Club on W. 57th Street is still standing tall (and neon). Larry...

In today’s edition of The Update Journal, AMC has apparently decided that our emotional stability was becoming a little too comfortable, because The Queen Has Awakened: Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned has officially been confirmed as the successor to The Vampire Lestat. Which means the Summer Watchlist may be approaching the finish line, but the psychological damage has already been renewed for an...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, Marriage Is a Group Project. A man is going viral over how he and his wife handle the bills the chores, date night, and basically the entire day-to-day administrative nightmare that comes with being two adults trying to run one household. It's National Cheeseburger Day- so what actually belongs on a burger? And in The Last Word, Starting Over Doesn...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, I found the channel Freeform on my TV -just in time for the 31 Nights of Halloween in October. The Feast of San Gennaro is back. Come hungry, and don't ask about calories. And in this week's edition of The Thursday Detour, It's not officially fall yet, but the pumpkin spice, jackets and 60-degree days are already here. Let's talk fake f...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, what exactly makes something a fall flavor? As we await GTA 6, we continue to learn new details about the game. Apparently, the game will apparently stop Jason and Lucia's story if you're broke. What's that about? And in The Last Word, never forgetting 9/11- even 25 years later. In the headlines on #TheUpdate this Friday, today is the 25th...

In today's edition of The Update Journal, The weather changes all the time, but it seems like the people who don't realize this are the weather people on TV. News people aren't no better. I wish we could get over things the way news anchors switch stories. One minute it's "doom and gloom", the next minute: "Sunshine and 72!" Make up your mind... oh, wait five mi...
