In 1975, a man named John Womack was cruising down a rural Alabama road never once suspecting that he—like a cosmic Alice in Wonderland—was just seconds away from hurtling down a ufological rabbit hole inhabited by silver saucers, sentient fireballs, liquid light, octo-plants and an increasingly outlandish array of enigmatic entities engaged in an epic crusade to rid the galaxy of invisible, evil...

In the mid-1970s, a man driving through a rural region of Alabama would find himself thrust into one of the most psychedelic alien abduction episodes ever recorded: one which involved liquid light, an extraordinary ensemble of extraterrestrial entities, a conversation one might concoct while tripping balls and a celestial conflict between these alien beings and their sworn enemies—the ultimate evi...

A staple of Halloween dioramas, biology classrooms and fright flicks, the human skeleton has been, since a time immemorial, a source of both fascination and fear. But as haunting as images on the silver screen or etchings in old books may be, they pale before the real-life encounters that many have reported with allegedly undead skeletal remains. Those of us who've had horrific nightmares of floating alone in a vast, dark ocean only to feel the slippery, sinewy grasp of an unseen tentacled terror wrap around our leg before yanking us down into the briny depths have always woken up to the dubious comfort that to actually confront one of these malignant molluscs we'd have to choose to go to the sea… but for an unfortunate few, encounters wit...
