In Spirit & Truth

We love comfort. We settle into routines, familiar places, and predictable lives. Pastor JD will explain to you today that sometimes God allows discomfort to shake you loose from where you’ve stayed too long. Not to harm you, but to move you. God wants to lead you into the purpose He’s calling you to.

We ask everybody for advice. Friends, podcasts, influencers, experts. But how often do we stop and ask God for wisdom? Scripture says if anyone lacks wisdom, we should ask God, and He gives generously. Today, Pastor JD will tell you that God isn’t hiding direction from you. God delights in leading His children.

Shouldn’t we be used to the idea that God always knows what’s going to happen? While God may be mysterious, He gives us the opportunity to see His plans revealed through His word! If you’re ever uncertain of what is coming down the road, know that Scripture contains the whole story – and rest assured that God wins the day!

If you’ve listened to Pastor JD’s updates before, you might have caught on that he always makes a point to share the ABC’s of the gospel. Well, today is no different. The message of the gospel is the single most important message you will ever hear in your life. It’s not complicated, but it is life-changing.

A teacher’s job in the classroom is to prepare the students for the field in which they’re studying. It wouldn’t do any good to talk about math without ever learning calculations. Today, Pastor JD wants you not to miss the forest for the trees. It’s imperative that you understand the point of the Scriptures is to know Jesus.

Isn't that a funny thought? Imagining God in heaven trying to stop us from knowing His will? Yet sometimes we live like He’s hiding it from us. Pastor JD will tell you this truth today: God wants to lead His children. He delights in guiding you, speaking to you, and revealing the path He’s calling you to walk.

We often underestimate young people because of their age, but God doesn’t. Throughout Scripture, God used young men and women in powerful ways. Today, Pastor JD will share with you why you should never despise youth. Sometimes their youth is exactly what God uses: their boldness, faith, and willingness to follow Him.

We all make plans for our lives. We picture the direction, the timing, and the outcome we want. But often, God leads us differently than we expected. Pastor JD will tell you today that God’s plans may stretch you, but His ways are always higher, wiser, and better than anything you could have designed for yourself.

On a long road trip, it’s nice to see the sign of your destination with the number of miles slowly decreasing. The lower the number of miles, the closer you are, the more excited you get. In today’s update, Pastor JD urges you to get excited, not about the signs of Jesus coming, but about the fact that JESUS IS COMING!

From time to time, we can all tend to veer off our trajectory. So, like a ship captain, we should be constantly adjusting in order to remain on course. In today’s Prophecy Update, Pastor JD wants to help you recalibrate your focus onto Jesus. Without Jesus, all the signs and the prophecies lose their meaning.

The times we live in are anything but certain. None of us knows whether we will live to see tomorrow. That’s why Pastor JD expresses today the utmost importance of taking every opportunity you have to share the gospel with others. Remember what the Scriptures say: Today is the day of salvation.

Too often, we let our feelings have too much power over the way we choose to act or handle a situation. Our faith is supposed to be in God and in Him alone. When we’re feeling lost, God is the One we need to turn to first. Today, Pastor JD teaches us to give it to God and allow Him access to change our lives as only He can.

It’s almost impossible to believe that anybody could love your children more than you do, but God does. This should be a relief, in the sense that we are not solely responsible for the outcome of our children. Today, Pastor JD teaches that in faith, we must give to God what we can’t do alone, because He is able when we’re not.

The presence of God in our lives is so important in spiritual warfare, and the enemy knows it! It’s why he will do anything to keep you from spending time in fellowship with Him. In today’s teaching, Pastor JD talks about the importance of God’s Word in our lives, giving praise to the Lord, and asking Him to keep us from falling.

Did you know that, apparently, forty percent of Americans believe that we’re in the last days? Is that not a SHOCKING number? In today’s update, Pastor JD shares with you a New York Times opinion that belittles the notion that Jesus will soon return. Didn’t Peter say that in the last days there would be scoffers?

It’s astounding how many Churches today spend so little time on prophecy or avoid it altogether, especially concerning the rapture of the Church. In today’s update, Pastor JD walks you back through several places in Scripture that explicitly teach about the return of Christ for His bride.

All too often, our culture wants to gaslight us when we question the narrative. They write us off as conspiracy nuts when we don’t accept the status quo. Well, in today’s update, Pastor JD encourages you not to worry when Biblical prophecy comes under attack. It’s just another sign that you’re that much closer to the rapture.

When you’ve spent time in fellowship with Jesus, the level of loss that you feel when you fall away far exceeds any level of loss prior. You start to feel lost, overcome with a sense of defeat, trying to find that sense of peace again. Today, Pastor JD has you remember how you started, in order to find your way back.

Keeping ourselves in the love of God is work, and it’s a choice that we have to make every minute of every day. The enemy will try to entice us and pull us out of His love, any chance he gets. In today’s message, Pastor JD teaches us that wherever Jesus is, we should be, and if we can’t take Him there, then we shouldn’t go either.

How comforting it is to know that everything we go through in life, God is right there beside us- fighting our battles, not only with us, but for us! Even in our darkest moments, we are never alone. In today’s message, Pastor JD teaches us that God will never bring us to a hard point without bringing us through it.

It seems like everywhere we turn now, we’re being asked to verify who we are. Passwords, codes, scans… the world keeps changing fast. In today’s message, Pastor JD talks about what those changes might mean through the lens of Bible prophecy, and why, in the middle of it all, the simple truth of the Gospel still matters most.

Have you ever looked at a puzzle piece and thought, that can’t possibly fit… only to realize later it changes the whole picture? In today’s message, Pastor JD challenges us to reconsider long-held assumptions about Bible prophecy and reminds us why staying anchored in God’s Word matters more than ever.

We all know what it feels like when a storm is coming. The air changes. The signs are there. And even before the first drop falls, people begin preparing. In today’s message, Pastor JD asks an important question: What if many of the systems shaping our world today are preparation for something much bigger?

When we keep our eyes fixed on the Lord, trusting that He’s working all things for good, we’re able to look at our situations as teachable moments rather than punishments. In today’s message, Pastor JD teaches us that the what, the why, and the when are all important in understanding why the Lord allows things to happen.

The enemy doesn’t need full access to our home or our lives; he just needs the foothold of our frustration. In today's message, Pastor JD teaches that one of Satan’s go-to tactics is to cause division within the church. When we begin to gossip, argue, and disagree on things we can’t control, Satan will come in and tear us apart.
