Something to Say
Who cares what society says? Do you have something to say? Either society is judging or you are explaining your choices. In this podcast I talk about how I have navigated both sides of this as a woman in her mid 30s who is also single (for now) and south asian (forever). We bring in folks who also have something to say about a variety of topics in an attempt to remove the stigma of talking about things that make us uncomfortable. Everyone has something to say!

Ep 08: "Why are men...?" with Chetan (ft. Utkarsh) 01.10.2026 58:04
Women want to know! WHY ARE MEN...? Why are they the way they are? How can we understand them? Do they even understand themselves? I had some burning questions and I had the ONLY man whose opinions I trust join me - my brother, Chetan! This episode also features answers from one of Single to Shaadi's male dating coaches, and a fellow podcaster, Utkarsh Shrivastava. We talk loneliness, pacif...
Ep 07: The Situation with Situationships 16.09.2026 32:20
If you have dated at all, you have most likely ended up in a "situationship" at some point. I know I did - and I actually loved it. I don't know if it was because I was "the problem" or my particular situation was just very ideal but I learned a great deal about myself and what the final push was to figure out what it was I wanted out of a romantic partnership. This epis...
Ep 06: "Waiting Isn't Wasted" with Vaidehi Patel 27.08.2026 48:12
Just 2 single gals in their mid 30s talking around the "grief" of the life we thought we'd have by now. Except we're not THAT sad about it! Vaidehi Patel (@lifeofvaidehi) is the host of "Chai and Chemistry" on the Single to Shaadi Podcast Network and we've podcasted together before. It's been a year since we have come to know about each other and we touch on...
Ep 05: Believing is Believing 11.08.2026 40:18
This episode is for the ones who have a hard time believing. It could be related to anything...love, career, sense of self. It's really easy to SAY you believe that you deserve the best. But when the best comes to you, are you able to accept it? Or do you end up doubting it? While I have learned to believe in myself better than before, the old doubts always creep back in. "What if it n...
Ep 04: "Becoming Ourselves" With Pooja Bhatnagar and Julie Taparia 22.07.2026 48:22
Do you ever wish you had all the answers to what you needed to do for your life? Or maybe why you are the way you are? Over the years I've become a fan of astrology since it has helped me figure out what kinds of things I can expect for my life. Especially when I feel like I'm "doing all the right things" otherwise. Recently I've discovered human Design and how that can a...
Ep 03: "Speaking of Growth..." 09.07.2026 50:52
WE. LOVE. GROWTH. I do not wish I was any younger than I am today because of the kinds of growth I have faced that makes me a better version of myself today, than I was yesterday. In this episode I go into various areas of growth: friendships, family, and romantic. We even have a special gust chiming in to cover an element I don't have experience of! If you're feeling stuck in any sort...
Ep 02: " Unapologetically Yourself" with Aparna Shewakramani 23.06.2026 39:27
We have THE Aparna Shewakramani on the pod! We definitely talk about Indian Matchmaking and how she is depicted as 'unlikable' for having standards and how having standards are not flaws. My conversation with her was absolutely wonderful and she is such a kind person who reads you in the best of ways. I admit I was a little nervous and she totally put me at ease. I hope you enjoy our co...
Ep 01: "Auntys Gonna Aunty" 09.06.2026 38:03
We're starting off strong. Talking about Judgement. As a South Asian, we affectionately call the other women our mom's generation, Aunty. They hold the trophy of being known to say the quiet judgements out loud. However, the truth is we ALL judge. Each other, ourselves and everything around us. In this episode I talk about the ways I AM a judgey aunty, how I have handled judgement and...
